Okay.
Looks like I'm finally back.
Yea, FINALLY.
So sorry to all my AVID SUPPORTERS / FANS / FOLLOWERS / DISCIPLES. XP
As usual, had been REALLY REALLY busy... and... lazy. >.<" XP wow... almost six friggin months of absence here already! >.<" XP

Yea..
So...
I worked, at a digital printing shop near my house,
learnt quite a lot of graphic designing stuff from an ex-colleague. :)
Yea... that's like about 5 months back already... =.=" XP

And of course,
Many outings with my friends,
especially my UCTI/APIIT UCFF0801-G2 Foundation pals,
And my Chong Hwa gang...

Then, comes the academic part...
EXAMS!
ASSIGNMENTS!
In fact, I'm in the midst of assignments,
RIGHT NOW.

So, no time,
and MOOD,
to blog a lot..

Aspiring authors

A few of you MIGHT have already know and/or check out my college classmate's blog,

Currently,
He has kind of "stepped up",
or maybe I should say, BRANCHED OUT,
into writing a novella of sorts.

I RECOMMEND YOU GUYS GO READ IT.
:D XP

Yea,
His writing style may still be "pretty amateurish" and such,
but that's because IT IS his first public writing of such literature!

Other than a lot of weaponry technicalities,
and also a little weird grammar and syntax errors here and there,
I think it's pretty decent and relatively attractive.

It does, to some extent, leaves me wanting to know more and how things will end up. :)
And my love for Sci-fi literature is also another bonus. :D XP
And THAT, is a GOOD THING. ;D

So yeah, do give his story a read.
And give this aspiring some support, motivation, as well as some COMMENTS and OPINIONS so that he can IMPROVE. ;)

Who knows, one day he may become ~~famous~~ INfamous and we, his LOYAL fans from the BEGINNING may get SPECIAL PRIVILEGES and DISCOUNTS for his works! :D XP

Never underestimate these aspiring dreamers.
They have the courage to take the first step,
and if their works are decent and promising,
I see it fit that we give at least some support.

The least of course, is just by reading their works,
AND leaving some acknowledgment,
as well as some CONSTRUCTIVE comments, feedback and opinions as well. ;) XP

1 month of laziness and procrastination

So...

Looks like it's been 1 month since I last updated this blog... =.="

Why my sudden urge and motivation to update NOW?

Well,
Have you ever experienced that kinda day where you wake up like any other day, (any other usual WEEKDAY, where you either go to school, college, work, etc...) get up, do your usual routines,
and just when you're at the doorstep of your friend's house, ready to go to college, he comes out half asleep telling you it's a holiday??!

Today was one of those days for me.

Got loads of stuff that I really wanna blog about.
Quite a lotta stuff happened too in this span of 1 month.

One of the more defining events was of course,
My college mate's (CK) sis' wedding.
Yea, so I helped with the photography of the ceremony and stuff on the bride's (CK's sis) side.

Of course, I had quite a big "ang pow" (red packet) for my, *ahem* SERVICES, too. :D XP
(Nope, I don't provide any OTHER services, whatever you may be thinking, other than photography.. =.=" XP)

As usual,
Busy-ness and procrastination got the better of me. =.=" XP

So, a ~~little quick~~ LONG update on things.
(Why LONG? Cause I'm kinda free. And will be for some time.
Why? You'll know why soon. ;) *hint*something to do with the title*hint* ;) XP )

Finished my Sem 2 finals last last week.
Just entered Sem 3 this week, which has a nice schedule:

Only THREE days with classes per week.
Yes. You didn't see that wrongly. Your eyes aren't fooling you.
ONLY 3 days of classes out a week of 7 days! :D XP

I believe I need not speak more of this AWESOME schedule as some of my other classmates have already done so. ;)

Why am I so free? (Well, not that I usually ain't in the first place... =.=" XP)
And why would I be for SOME time?

THIS, is the reason:

Now imagine those SPOTS,
ALL OVER MY BODY. (Well ALMOST all over at least... if you get what I mean... ==.=="" XP)
Explains the title eh? ;) (Well, at least I HOPE it did... =.=" XP)

(Okok, to be honest, when I took the pic, the spots weren't so OBVIOUS, because of the hand phone camera flash, picture quality and everything, so a little Photoshop magic was applied to EMPHASIZE and DRAMATIZE things a TINY WEENY LITTLE BIT. XP)

I've gotten RUBELLA, also usually known as and commonly called GERMAN MEASLES.
(Nope, it doesn't make me German or anything, though I'd like to be able to converse with a particular SOMEONE in German. XD)

If you're wondering,
"Isn't Rubella that sickness where girls in secondary/primary schools are vaccinated against?"
The answer is, YES.

I know, by now, if you guys haven't already thought so, would be thinking,
"ISN'T RUBELLA A GIRL'S ILLNESS??" (or something along those lines...)
The answer most clearly would be, NO.
As you can see, I'm a guy (YOU'VE GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?!), and I've gotten it. HENCE, it ain't a FEMALE ONLY SICKNESS. (DOH!~ DUH!!~ =.=" XP)

Then why are only girls vaccinated against it?

Well, that's because the Rubella virus (YES, it's a VIRAL disease, another reason why GUYS can get it as well.) can cause unborn fetuses in a pregnant woman's womb to deform.
The earlier into the pregnancy a woman is infected by it, the higher chance and more deformation may occur to the unborn child.

THUS, the main reason why the vaccine is given compulsory to most teenage girls is ~~to make sure any teenage sl*t who happens to get pregnant at that tender age does not give birth to a child deformed by Rubella~~ to not incur any risks of catching Rubella while their pregnant and cause their child to be deformed.

I HOPE, I've made my point(s) CLEAR. =.=" ... :) XP

Hence,
Because of this fetus deforming virus,
I've been granted 4 days MC,
Which translates to me not needing to go to college this week, (remember my AWESOME new schedule? :D XP)
Which translates to me having TWO weeks of "HOLIDAYS"! :D XP (Next week is HARI RAYA! :D XP)

(btw, I ain't really suffering, the MC is given more so that I do not come in contact with any lecturers who so happen to be EXPECTING mothers. =.=" XP)

Have been job hunting the past 2 days! (Sat and Sun)
So if you've seen me around the "Golden Triangle of KL" area these few days,
you should know why now.

I see nearly dead blogs and/or bloggers claiming to have NOTHING to blog about.

"These few days, very normal lorh~ ... Nothing special."

It's not just blogs.
Even in our usual, normal day to day life.

It ain't unusual to hear people say, "Boring lah~".

Yes, I will not deny.
I used to say that as well.

But, now, I see things in a whole new light.

I'm not sure what brought about this change in perspective and outlook of life in me though, but I'm sure my constant pondering and passion in photography as a way I look at life has definitely contributed to this.

THERE IS SO MUCH TO LIFE!!!

Go watch a movie!
Read a book!
Learn to play a musical instrument!
Form a band! (XP)
Write a poem! (XP)
Go yam2 cha3! ("Drink tea")
Catch up with friends!
Make new ones!

Pick up a hobby!!

Don't pick up wrong, useless, unproductive and time wasting hobbies though... =.="

Of course,
The list goes on and on, and on, and on, and on...
THERE ARE SO MUCH MORE THINGS THAT CAN BE DONE!!!

Busy busy busy...
No time to update.

SUPERB!!!

I can only marvel at how Pixar has manged to make such a BOXy, rusty, character look so cute!!

The emotions,
The expressions,
The innocence.
I know it's all just CG,
I know it's all just 3D animation done by the geniuses at Pixar and their super uber Macs,
but I just can't help being immersed into all of it.

From the Apple inspired designs and sounds,
to the monotonous sounds produced by the robots,
to the sarcastic jabs at humanity, our laziness and our vulnerability to "CONVENIENCE".

Wall.E isn't only an entertaining animated flick with some morals,
IT'S A FANTASTIC WORK OF ART!

Of course,
There may have been too much of the touchy touchy,
Emo-emo, kiddy kiddy stuff,
But what to do? There's Disney in it.

Give some room to the corny-ness and cliches,
Put away all that ego and "rationality" you've accumulated all these years,
let loose that child in us and let it thoroughly enjoy this movie.

This movie will definitely please that inner child in all of us.
While reminding us of what really matters in life, and how vulnerable our beautiful Earth really is.

Because this movie is too good for me to say much more,
and also because of my tiredness, busy-ness, and rush to post this after so many delays.

But overall, it's just too lame.

TOO many lame stuff doesn't make a movie cool. =.="

I've been wanting to post this for quite some time now. (As usual... =.=" XP)

"Walao! He using a Canon 1D Mark III lerh!!"

"FUUYOOH!! See his DSLR how big?! The flash even bigger!!"

"See! His lens so big!!"

(No punS intended... =.=" XP)

Ever heard these comments and exclamations before?

I'm tired and disgusted with all those so called "PHOTOGRAPHERS" who exalt expensive gear and equipment more than skills and technique!

Going around showing off, or looking down on those who have "cheaper" gear or equipment, and worshiping all those who have the LATEST and uber EXPENSIVE equipment.

I REPEAT.

I'M DISGUSTED.

YES.
Equipments and gears ARE IMPORTANT.

I do not deny that fact where a photographer can be limited due to his or her equipment.

BUT.
THEY (equipment) is NOT EVERYTHING.

Give the BESTEST of BESTEST equipment to an idiot, and he still won't be able to take a good picture.

On the other hand,
Give any low-end, VGA phone camera to a REAL GENUINE PHOTOGRAPHER, chances are higher he can take better pics than a show-off having a Canon 1D Mark III.

THUS,
SKILL and TECHNIQUE are the MOST important.

And like I always say,

"It's the person BEHIND the camera that's really important."

To all those who claim to be photographers,
Please don't make a bad name for OUR passion.

The Dark Knight is SERIOUSly AWESOME

After a lil PROCRASTINATION, (again~... =.=" XP) and busy-ness due to more friggin assignments...

I present to you,
my PROMISED THE DARK KNIGHT Review!!~ XD

It's FREAKING AWESOME!!
TOTALLY ROCKS!!!
MIND BLOWING!!!
BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR!!!
so far... (Say it like Homer Simpson.. ;P)

Okay, I could go on all day... =.=" XP

WHY?

Okay, as usual,
Lemme sum things up for ya guys. ;)

1stly, the other movie which I was so frenzied over this year, Iron Man. (Remember THIS post? XP ... And THIS... and THIS too? XP)
One of the main points for me so totally loving that movie is the AWESOME TECHNOLOGY. COOL Technology.(Remember? =.=" XP)

Well, NOW, with TDK (The Dark Knight), sadly, I'll have to say: "Iron Man / Tony Stark, please step aside..." ... =.=" XP

Why?

Turning a phone into a sonar emitting device which can map out its 3D surroundings, applying it to a whole city, and then having it all accessible on your own headgear. That's way more than UBER COOL, it's even PLAUSIBLE! (well... MORE plausible than Iron Man at least.. =.=" XP)
It's even so ~~COOL~~ Controversial and near plausible that people even bother to argue and discuss over how it could actually be done!
Just check THIS out! XP

Then, there's the UBER AWESOME action scenes as well.
Beats any other Superhero movie (loads of it this year), FLAT 99.

For those who haven't watched the movie (HOW CAN YOU!?!), the following is a

*MAJOR SPOILER ALERT*

The whole thing with the Batpod being ejected from the main Batmobile itself,
TOTALLY UBER FREAKING COOL.

If the Tumbler Batmobile wasn't already cool enough, the Batpod is sure to sweep you off your feet. LITERALLY.

BEST OF ALL, IT's REAL!!
BOTH the Tumbler Batmobile and Batpod!!
Real as in the sense, they can both be really driven!!
They even took the Batmobile for a spin with F1!! =.=" XP

And check this out! I never knew that the Batpod is actually SHOULDER DRIVEN!!
HOW COOL IS THAT??! XP

With his cracked white pancake makeup, black-rimmed eyes, smeared lipstick and greasy, greenish-tinged hair, The Joker bears no resemblance to the strikingly handsome actor who played him. In fact, the character is like nothing we've seen or heard before.

Ledger has made this anarchic maniac a singular and supremely unhinged villain. From the clumsily repellant way he flips his tongue around to his sneering, nasal voice, he is a peerless eccentric.

made the Joker ~~one of~~ his best performances EVER.
I think there ain't a villain that has ever made such a HUMONGOUS effect on viewers and audiences. (So far... ...)
I'm keeping my hopes up that with this, I hope Ledger has set a high standard for future movies, film producers, directors and actors to aim for. Please don't let us down...

Though sad to say,
it's Ledger's last performance as well.
May his talent and legacy live on, in this last but OUTSTANDING performance.

Of course,
Let's not just let Ledger take ALL of the credit for this AWESOME movie. (though he has already gained the VAST MAJORITY of it... =.=" XP)

Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth aka THE Butler),
Maggie Gyllenhaal (Rachel Dawes),

Morgan Freeman (Lucius Fox)
all did an AWESOME JOB in their roles.

(As a side note, I find Katie Holmes prettier. But that may just be me. XP Not saying Gyllenhaal ain't good though! In fact, I feel she added more DEPTH into the Rachel Dawes character. ;) )

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST.
What I LOVE about THE DARK KNIGHT MOST,
is its many life morals and meanings.
Mostly which can be very philosophical.

The one I totally LOVE MOST is:

"NO MAN is INCORRUPTIBLE"

I TOTALLY agree with it.

And the whole fact that Two-Face, the fallen Harvey Dent aka "The Hero of Gotham with a face", is a proof and manifestation of The Joker's message - how fragile and sinful we really are, despite our best efforts to be righteous and MORALLY good.

Thus, our need for GOD.

(Of course, Batman aka Bruce Wayne himself is also corruptible, just that, this is a MOVIE. And he's the main HERO! Let's cut him some slack! ;) XP)

Okok...
Have been really really busy lately...
This is going to be one UBER long post to "cover things up"~ XD

Immediately after my last blog post, I had to rush through 2 assignments.
- a) Communication Skills
- b) IT Applications
Both were NERVE WRECKING, not to mention, SLEEP-DEPRIVING... =.="
(Just ask our dear Mr. Chris, I'm sure he's still got a lot to say about the ITA assignment... =.=" XP hahaha...)

The following Saturday, after FINALLY handing in our ITA assignment on Friday, we had the ICCG which was held at our college - APIIT.
It's basically a Cyber games tournament.
Well, the main emphasis was more on DotA, as out of all the games open for competition at that time, (DotA, CS v1.6 and COD4, Winning Eleven, MAYBE more... =.=") teams that signed up for DotA exceeded the rest by more than 2 times at least... =.="

And to make things more happening, they (those unorganized organizers of the event)even invited the Code Masters.

For those who are still in the rut, they are the guys that have recently brought us the UBER COOL, UBER NICE, UBER FANTABULASTIC racing game - GRID!

For all you guys who are racing games fans, this is a MUST-PLAY!
If you can handle this, NFS is child's play. =.=" XP

So, we attended the ICCG and showed some support for our class' DotA team - UnreaL. XP
Sadly though, they lost the 1st game... ... and were eliminated... =.="

Well anyway, we did go to Time Square to catch a movie as well.
The much anticipated and talked about movie, the movie which everyone was eager to spoil for me... =.=" - The Dark Knight.

It's FREAKING AWESOME!!! THE BEST MOVIE THIS YEAR!!! (so far~) XP

Okok... lets just hold it there for a moment, we'll continue with that later on... =.=" XP

2nd day, we went to the theme park after checking out and before leaving for home~ :D

Ok..
Let me justify myself.

First of all.
In comparison to the other movies,
This movie is trying too hard to make a story!
Though it did convey certain DEEPER meanings and values,
which I will talk more about later on,
It didn't really stand out, nor did it make any real impact.
Unlike the other movies, especially superhero movies,
They (the superhero movies) gave us what we WANT - the Superheroes themselves!

2nd,
In relation to the first point,
After watching the trailer,
With that jaw dropping, FREAKISHLY cool literally-sweep-you-off-your-feet car stunt,
and all that bullet bending sh*t,
We were expecting ~~MORE~~ MUCH MUCH MORE COOLER STUFF!
Turns out,
almost ALL the GOOD STUFF is already on the Trailer. =.="
We wanted MORE COOLER STUFF,
which the trailer indirectly stirring up our appetites for some much more Jaw dropping action and stunts,
The real thing failed to deliver so.

3rd,
The entire story line is somewhat like that of JUMPER!!
(Remember that movie i reviewed? If not, look back HERE)

Very loose and shallow storyline,
All emphasis on ACTION, but still trying to deliver some sort of reason and meaning to it, and failing miserably.
They minus well just cut all the crap and get to the point! - the ACTION itself! =.="

And just like Jumper,
Wanted literally left me with,
"What? That's it? It's finished already?? Lansung no FEEL..." =.="

...

Okok...
here are SOME of the GOOD POINTS of this movie.
like I said before.
COOL.
That's IT.

I'll admit,
This movie boasts a BEVY of SUPER COOL, super AWESOME, super INCREDIBLE action and visual stunts.
From it's own original, mind boggling, totally OFF-THE-ROOF-COOL bullet bending,
to SUPER illogical but no doubt ULTRA YENG car stunts.
Not to mention, the GIGA-TERA-HYPER-Long range sniper shots... =.=" XP
Mostly very very very MATRIX inspired.
Almost ALL are that of the SLOW-MO action made SUPER famous by the Matrix trilogy.

And now...
About the HIDDEN, DEEPER meaning to the movie...

I feel the story try to convey a meaning, tell us to TAKE CONTROL OF OUR OWN LIVES.
Don't let so-called "FATE" drag you along, anywhere, be it we like it or not,
Cause ultimately, that's not what we want for ourselves.
Take the main character for example,

*ALERT!!*
*MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*

When the main character (Wesley) leaves for the headquarters of the Assassin's Guild - The Fraternity, he looks back behind the car, looking at the bridge to where he used to live slowly being lifted.
I FEEL (I don't know what it really meant, or if it even meant anything at all) that it meant him leaving behind his "OLD LIFE" of as "DULL" "accounts manager", to be a
"GLAMOROUS" "assassin".

And as for that thingy which decides who the Fraternity should assassinate next,It's, of course, a symbol of FATE itself - which, could, and was later manipulated by a human.
Symbolizing that we shouldn't leave LIFE to FATE, but TAKE CONTROL, make our CHOICES, be DECISIVE, and STAND FIRM on WHAT WE BELIEVE IN.
Best said in the last line of the movie, where Wesley says,

"This is me, taking control of my life...
What the f*ck have you done lately?"

I hope it ain't just me...
Cause if it is,
I might have just make myself sound very VERY "philosophical"... =.=" XP

I'd say:But, for you guys, like many others on the net and those critics who, astonishingly, reviewed this movie with good comments, and those who liked the movie Jumper, you guys may just like this movie.
Though I'd really don't know how and why. =.=" XP

My advice it to just ~~download~~ acquire this movie by some FREE means and don't bother watching this movie in the cinemas.
Throw out all logic and reasoning, only expect to be purely entertained with PURE "no-brainer" action and visuals, and you may just enjoy this movie fairly enough.
And if you're like Mr.SplitFire, who thinks YENG-ness precedes story, (YENG>Story), by all means, watch this movie, and you'll be BLOWN AWAY. :) XP

Personally,
I feel the action and COOL-ness alone isn't worth your RM7 or more... ;) =.=" XP

Now on to my 2nd SUMMER-BLOCK-BUSTERS-MARATHON movie for this post,

This movie,
Compared to the former,
Is MUCH MUCH MORE WORTH YOUR MONEY.

Especially if you can catch jokes and fast English english. (Nope, that ain't a typo, I really meant English english, as in, BRITISH english... =.=" XP)

Guys who watch SITCOMS like How I Met Your Mother, and ESPECIALLY, The Big Bang Theory, AND can catch the jokes FAST and ACCURATELY, you guys will DEFINITELY enjoy this movie and all the humor it has to offer. ;D

I watched this movie with my Metro Tabernacle-ite friends,
And we were the ONLY ONES IN the cinema laughing the most!!
The rest of those *cough*slow*cough* Malaysians couldn't catch more than half of the jokes!! =.=" XP
I seriously pity them... =.=" XP hahaha~
Not trying to be cocky or whatever... Just stating that the jokes aren't easy to catch, if you're not used to it... =.=" ;D XP

There isn't much I can say about this movie.
The best is to just get yourselves to the cinema, and get a good laugh yourself! :D

INCREDIBLE Hulk & AWESOME Panda

Just came back from a "FANTABULASTIC" movie marathon yesterday at Time Square GSC.

Let's just cut to the chase and jump to the main point that some of you guys have been asking for, shall we? ;) XP

3 words.
Funny. Cool. AWESOME!!~ XP
To quote from Po (the main character, the Panda's name) while he was dreaming,

"There is no charge for awesomeness... or attractiveness."

You've gotto say it in that MANLY, UBER-COOL accent and pose (after beating a whole gang of baddies of course)... The type that makes girls go weak~ XP

WAIT!!
There's more to the AWESOMEness!~ XP

"Legend tells of a legendary warrior whose kung fu skills were the stuff of legend.
It is said that his enemies would go blind from over-exposure to pure awesomeness!"

FIRST and FOREMOST!
The HUMOR!!
The whole irony, and idea of a FAT animal fighting Kung Fu,
contrasting to the Tiger, Crane, Monkey, Snake, and Mantis,
It can only mean LOADS of Funny moments.
Remember the saying, "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach?"
Same goes for Po. XP

The CG are damn gao awesome!!~
Fluid movements, totally brings out the whole KUNG FU fast paced action,
though most of the times a little short, but still! It ain't easy.
Those animators at DreamWorks should really be rewarded nicely for their AWESOME work! XP
Although much of the action are very MATRIX-like,
but, it only proves the MATRIX effect is still way too AWESOME!! XP
AND!
It adds to the humor! XP

As you can see from above just now,
The dialogue is HILARIOUS!!

Po: "The Furious Five! You look a lot bigger than your action figures! Except you, Mantis. You're about the same."

Po: "The Sword of Heroes! Said to be so sharp you can get cut just by looking at - Ow!"

Po: [looking around at the historical artifacts in the palace] "Wow! I've only seen paintings of that painting!"

There are also some WISE dialogue too!
Oogway (The Wise Master's WISER MASTER): "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present."

These are just a FEW of the witty, well thought, comical, and executed-out-exactly-at-the-right-moments dialogue!
Please, please do yourself a favor and watch the movie, if not for the AWESOME Graphics, AWESOME Action CG, AWESOME Humor, at least for the AWESOME of AWESOME-st dialogue! ;D

Of course, on top of ALLLL THOSEEE,
What's a good movie without a GOOD story-line?
Face it.
It's an ANIMATED flick.
How deep can it get?
BUT!
They don't TRY to BE something ELSE.

On top of that,
Like any children rhyme/story,
It has a moral behind it.
And, I believe, in our society nowadays,
It really really applies very well.
PLEASE PLEASE watch it. ;)

This movie's ACTION parts are MUCH better than Iron Man.

C'mon, a big gigantic green beast running around loose and wild has gotta make more damage than a puny man in an "gold-titanium alloy" suit flying around shooting things with his puny missiles and plasma cannon right? XP

"If the Hulk were to grab Iron Man, that "super-hard" suit would just go bust!"

What kinda muscles are so high in density that they become BULLET-PROOF? =.=" XP

Story-wise,
It's fast paced.
No dodgy dodgy, not trying to be emo-emo,
not the hide and seek kinda show.
We came to watch the HULK, we get to see the HULK.

It's been QUITE some time since my last post~...
So... to compensate for all those lost time,

Just finished a group presentation with my USUAL group members - Joshua, CK and Yee Ching, aka Sotong (GET A BLOG DUDE!!~ XP) on quite an interesting topic.

After my form 3 class re-union,
Had another re-union the next day, a Saturday,
the 31st of May to be exact...
Long time ago eh~

It's a re-union for my last year's class, 5s8.
A few of us met at Chong Hwa Ind first,
Then headed off to somewhere near Selayang... (I think~)
Went to a good friend's ART EXHIBITION. :D

That's the artist - my friend! XP

He learns art at some art school,
and has GRADUATED.
The school then holds an exhibition for all the graduates. :)

Cut the whole story short,
We met at the place,
had a re-union, catch up, while being able to look at some art! :D

Mountain Hill Hiking

Here's a little something different from my MOVIES themed posts of late.

Okay...
So...
Today's MOTHERS' DAY.
Bought my mom a "bouquet" of flowers.

That settles it. :) XP

On to the main topic... XP

Went hiking up "Mount." Tabur today, with a few of my LG (Life Group) members.
Met another few church members while we were gonna start hiking. (Wives of THE futsal players... =.=" XP)

Going up Tabur hill (really don't know if it qualifies as a "mountain or not...)for the first time after staying here at Melawati for so d*mn long. =.=" XP
People come from as far as PJ just to climb this,
and literally go, "HURH?? You stay so near, never went up before?? Kesihan betul!~" =.=" XP
Well, now I can proudly say I live in Melawati. :)

Saw monkeys hanging around the Klang Gate entrance before our hike.

The reservoir / lake

Our "guide dog", which we met before going up.
It followed us all the way up, then down again.
Named it "Tabur". (Thanks to Daryl TONG. :) XP)

Didn't have a tripod... >.<

So...
If you're wondering why the only LIVING things in the photos are animals, a dog and a monkey... Please don't think that they were my companions on my hike... =.=" Or worse... they are my LG and church members... =.=" XP
I couldn't put any pics with PEOPLE in them as I know they wouldn't like it (be on the safe side...), and ONE PARTICULAR person will definitely nag till Kingdom come... =.="

The hike was fantastic.
Great first time experience.
The hike down was literally groping in the dark...
As you can see from my last pic... It was about 8pm already when we reached the foot of the mountain / hill (ARGH! Whatever it is! =.=" XP)...
Overall, DEFINITELY FUN, DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
(Best of all, I DROVE there and back too!~ :) XD)

Definitely joining other hiking trips if I can. (Preferably NSA (Non Stop Action)?? :) XP FINALLY updated it.. about Tabur olso pulak~ =.=" XP)

I'll Stand Firm

The title's got nothing to do with anything EMO, or any dilemma I'm in.

Well, maybe a LITTLE, SMALL one...

After my last "CONTROVERSIAL" post about my total FANATICISM towards the Iron Man movie, MANY people begged to differ.
"Simple and shallow story.", "You want super cool technology? Watch Minority Report."
The blog-sphere is no different as well.
"Has all of the people lost their sense of good taste for movies? Hasn't any good movies graced our cinema screens in Malaysia for such a long time that we have all degraded?"
OF COURSE NOT!!!

I STAND FIRM IN MY OPINION THAT IRON MAN ROCKS!!!

I can't see why Iron Man can't get as good reviews as Transformers at least. The story (Transformers) wasn't VERY DEEP either, I'd say it's much shallower and lame... (The CUBE~~ =.=").. but, nevertheless, we liked the YENG-ness of the TRANSFORMATIONS, the TRANSFORMERS themselves, the ACTION... What's not to like about those in Iron Man??? The SUIT, the WEAPONS, the DAMN AWESOME SCI-FI TECHNOLOGY, etc..
I don't see what's not to like...

As a final defense, i shall link Ms. Fireangel.
"So stop wasting your time reading this mindless shit and go watch it already!!!"

(Seriously considering buying the Original DVD with Director's Cuts, Commentary, bonus stuff... etc etc... :) XP)

Never been an Indiana Jones fan. Maybe because I've never REALLY seen any of the IJ movies. Who knows, this movie may just make me a convert. :) XP
Steven Spielberg... It can't be too bad.

Speed Racer

Ah~~ The nostalgia...
I, for one, watched the original cartoons before... (Trying to say it the way those old folks say it...)
(Hmm... Transformers, now Speed Racer... I even heard ThunderCats will have its movie too!!! XP)
From the trailer, the background looked too colourful... too NEON.. too fake.. =.=" XP but... the real CHARACTER of the movie is the CAR. (Like Transformers..) So... MIGHT give this movie a watch.. if I have the time... ~~or I might just download it...~~

Narnia: Prince Caspian

The first Narnia movie wasn't TOO bad.
I know, 4 kids, a magical kingdom, bla bla bla... sounds very cliched.. but.. nevertheless, still quite good... Think of it as a kiddie's version of LOTR.. ( I know, there's a big difference... but nevertheless...)
Would've left a better impression if Epic Movie didn't spoil it that much... =.=" XP
MIGHT give this a watch too... MAYBE...

I would just like to say I'm speechless, cause that's the only BEST thing to describe this movie, but, it'll be to vague, un-creative, too heard-before...
So, now I'm gonna RANT and RANT about it (like I've been doing these few days ever since watching it...), about the COOL-ness, the YENG-ness, the KEWL-ness, the HUMOUR, the COOL-ness, the "BALANCED-ness"...

O, did I mention the COOL-ness? No, I mean the UBER COOL-ness!!!

Serious.

It's THAT COOL!!! / YENG!!! / KEWL!!! / ... (anymore synonyms? bombastic ones prefered..)

Okay, okay,
Enough of the enthusiastic, lame, meaningless rantings...
On to the real jist..

Why is it so D*MN COOL?
Well, lemme give you guys an uncompletable-unless-you-watch-the-movie-yourself list of things that are SO UBER COOL in this movie.

1. The suit / armor. THE FREAKING SUIT IS A WORK OF ART!!!

2. The WAY the suit was designed.
Please don't make me elaborate more on this...

Okay, I will anyway... ...
(I've said this about 20 times at least...)
There's this scene where Tony Stark (The man behind the "Iron" suit) is designing the suit.
He drags his design of the suit from a monitor (It's an APPLE LCD, it's freaking huge and UBER NICE, I'd bet it was one of those 30" Cinema Displays) to another monitor (same model), by just pointing and making a dragging movement at the monitor using some sort of stylus.
THAT WAS ALREADY SO D*MN*D COOL! But NO! It doesn't just stop there! (If not, it wouldn't be called UBER COOL now, wouldn't it?)
He then drags the design from the 2nd monitor to a full table-sized tablet kinda thing beside his table and the 2 monitors. ARGH!!! D*MN FREAKING COOL!!!
But wait! THERE'S EVEN MORE!!
Hold on to your seats...
Here comes the KILLER part.

THE DESIGN ON THE TABLET THINGY SRPINGS UP INTO A 3D HOLOGRAM IMAGE!!!
~~OMG!!!~~
OH MY FREAKING FROZEN BALLS OF JUPITER AND SATURN!!! (I improved it Ji Mi... :) XP )
IT'S SO DAMN FREAKING YENG!!!!
*stabs self in the chest*

And if THAT wasn't COOL enough,
There's a little HOLOGRAPHIC rubbish bin at the corner of the tablet for Tony to throw unwanted parts of the design into!!!
ARGH!!!!! DAMN COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, back to my list...
(Got a LITTLE carried away there... ... XP)

3. The suit. IT FREAKING ROCKS!!!

4. THE 3D HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGES AREN'T JUST HOLOGRAMS, they can be PHYSICALLY, MATERIALLY MANOEUVRED!!!
Case in point is when Tony is designing the particular hand part of the suit, he could reach his hand into it as if it were real, turn it around, and GRAB HIS FIST WITH IT!!!
ARGH!!!

This time I'll just stick with being speech-less, aka shut-up... =.=" XP

5. THE UBER COOL WEAPONS, FLYING and FIGHTING SCENES!!!

6. The HUMOUR & COMIC RELIEF
It's all over the movie, placed correctly, not too lame, DAMN FUNNY...
It's just not right for me to try to express them here.
I don't believe I do them (the jokes) justice.
(WHAT??! Why're you looking at me as if I'm a bad and lame joker?? (=.=" XP))
The Jump-jet-boots test is a sure killer... XD

7. The "UBER-ly" COOL SUIT

8. Total Balance
(Equilibrium achieved... /gg kekeke~ Remnants of my SPM chemistry and physics knowlege... =.=" XP)

Total balance in the sense that the (like I said earlier) Comic relief and humour are placed stratigically across the movie, while the story is interesting enough, not lame, yes, simple, like many other movies nowadays.
Transformers anyone? Simple, also a lil lame... but it's good nonetheless right?... ... RIGHT?... =.=" XP
And, the action sequences, the COOL factor, TOTALLY off the roof. (I believe I have emphasized this PARTICULAR point enough... ... nope.. I don't think I have... :) XP)
Overall Very balanced.

Phew~

Had a long weekend.
Sorry for my lack of ONLINE activity lately.
Especially here at this ~~famous~~ blog of mine. =.=" XP

Just to update some of you busy bodies...

Thursday, public holiday..
Nabi Muhammad's BDay...
Went to help out with logistics at church and flamingo hotel..
Then commenced to Desa Setapak TBun for COD4 (Call Of Duty 4).

Friday, holiday for us APIIT-ians.
(If Thursday's a holiday, APIIT is off on Fridays too, 4 days straight of holidays.)
Lazed around till about 5 before going back to Chong Hwa Ind. for the Metamophorsis Dance Performance by the "Creative Movement" Society (身心创意学会）.

Was SPECIALLY and SPECIFICALLY asked back to help take pics. :) XP

Then Saturday, went back to Chong Hwa again in the morning,
Had this annual Fun Fare thing to celebrate the school's anniversary.
Met up with old pals and friends.
Then, hung around till night time to take pics for the Dance Performance again.

So... These are SOME of the FRUITS of my labour on those two nights. :)

The makeup sessions

Took while waiting, hanging around and watching the rehearsals on the 2nd day before the performance.

The "Cowboy" Dance.

Music was "Show Me Tha Money", Step Up Soundtrack, by Petey Pablo, and "Remember The Name", by Fort Minor.

Notice that the dances tell a story.

It's something about students, who, from little innocent kids who didn't know how to dance, "morphed" into enthusiastic dancers...
And the conflicts, the sorrows, the joy, etc, that come with the package. XP
It's also some sort of "autobiography" of the society...

As the title goes,
There has been a new movie with a lot of publicity and fuss around.

Yup.
It's that NUMBER movie.
That movie title with the most zeroes so far.

5 4 zeroes to be exact. (XP)

10,000 BC.

Okay.

As a whole.
It's another movie I don't recommend spending RM7 or more to watch.
As for me,
Thanks to the generous CK Chan,
We, bunch of APIIT-ians got free tickets to watch it.
So no fuss there. :) XP

So,
How's the movie?

Well...
I wouldn't say it's BAD.
Just, again, lack depth in story.
The story is simple.

I mean,
How deep can a story bout an ancient homosapien living in huts going to rescue his damsel in distress get?

All the prophecies... blah blah blah.
And LOADS of Africans, Blacks...

And some, quite catchy but also some quite lame dialogues...

In one scene, the main character has sympathy over a trapped and drowning Saber-Toothed Tiger.
Before saving it, he says,
"Promise me, don't eat me after I save you."
You laugh at first, but... you know.. it wasn't very far from being lame... =.=" XP

or this one...
"He has MAGIC, he speaks to the SPEAR-TOOTH!" ...
WOOo~~ =.=" XP

Personally,
I just feel the director/producer of this whole movie (10,000 BC) just wasn't happy with the ending of another number movie, 300.

Why?

Remember the ending where King Leonidas so "yeng-ly" throws the spear and scratches the gay "God-King" Xerxes on the lips??

Lemme remind you. :) XP

"His helmet was stifling, it narrowed his vision. And he must see far. His shield was heavy. It threw him off balance. And his target is far away."

Well,
In 300,
The spear didnt kill the "ultimate baddie".

In 10,000 BC,
It did.

Also,
In both movies,
the "ultimate baddies" were rulers of HUGE empires,
and were refered to as "God-Kings".
(They were also quite gay~~ =.=" XP)

How much more similar can they get?? XP

If you haven't watch 300,
I recomend you do.

If not for the EMO-ness,
at least for the cool artistic slow-mo killing and blood splatterings. :) XP

Lesson 1:

Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Lesson 6:
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep, your mouth shut!

Driving & Elections

I know this post came quite late,
But you'll understand as you read on.

I've got some GOOD news...
AND some BAD news...

Let's start with the good.

I've just passed my driving test.
On the first try.
Yup.

Why don't I sound enthusiastic?
Ofcourse, it's gotta do with the BAD news.

O btw,
I had a "dead engine", "mati engine", three times during the on the road part of the test.
YUP.
THREE TIMES and I still passed.

Just talk to me for the full story and other stuff about my driving test. ;) XP

Now, for the BAD news.

And I mean it.

It's REALLY BAD.

How bad?
Well... You can judge for yourself.

I just passed my driving exam on the 7th,
Haven't actually gotten my P license,
And I have already raked up and earned myself a "BOUNTY".

Serious.
Just the next day, Saturday, which was yesterday morning.

And just to cut the whole story short,
Woken up by my mom to go to church for the Middle East seminar (which btw, was VERY GOOD),
She invited me to drive. YES. She did.
Then, when coming out of the house, there was this van parked just outside my house gate, on the opposite side of the narrow road.
Normally, if it were my mom, no problem ofcourse.
But me being a total newbie and noob, I reversed out slowly, turned, couldn't get pass the corner of the van, wanted to go forward, there's when I made the killer move. =.="

I needed to first put the auto gear to D first, but i duno, maybe my nervousness + my instinct which needed my leg to step on something before changing gear maybe...
I STEPPED ON THE ACCELERATOR!!! WTF!!~ =.="

Imagine it without the boot being damaged, the dent in the bumper deeper and bigger, the scratches all the way to the righ side back door, the side dent bigger and deeper too, and a dent in the right side back door.

The van wasn't damaged very badly, only the left back light was busted, and a little corner of the back bumper dropped off. Costed RM80+.

On the other hand, my mom's car's repair costed RM700++.

Total nearing RM900. =.=" T.T

What a bounty.
And on the 2nd day of passing my P test only.
Not even with my P license yet. =.="

Movie and MANGA. :) XD

Okay.

First off, MOVIE.

Was down at LA-LA land, aka Time Square lately,

where I saw THIS:

wtc man, of all taglines to parody, why Spiderman's?!?!? piff. (Fyi, Spiderman fan since young here... ... =.=" XD)

So. Okay, how was the movie?

Let me summarise it for you.

Guy discovers he has SUPER POWERS.
Guy abuses power and gets rich by robbing bank.
Fast forward 8 years,
Guy is living an awesome life.
Guy looks for long lost girlfriend.
Guy is hunted by some weird "villains". (OF ALL NAMES, why PALADINS?? damn corny... =.=")
Guy and girlfriend got problems. (Don't they ALL do?)
Guy's girlfriend is taken hostage.
Guy saves girlfriend.
Guy "defeats" enemies.
Guy lives happily ever after with girlfriend.

That's it.

Simple, lack-of-depth plot.
When the credits appeared, I literally went like, "WHAT? That's it??!"

But...
ALL IS NOT LOST.

The only GOOD thing about the movie, and very, VERY VERY, COOL in fact,
is the SPECIAL EFFECTS.

The fight scenes, the teleporting effects, all DAMN YENG!!~

Do i recommend watching this movie? I mean, spend RM7 or most likely more for this movie?

DEFINITE NO NO!

It's called FREE RUNNING. It's a more aesthetic form of Parkour. Both also known as Urban Ninja, Street Jumping, Building Jumping, etc etc... Just Google them and find out more. Definitely much cooler if not as cool than this %$#@! movie. ;) XP

WHY? Why am I dulan??

All because of the Light Rail Transit (LRT)!

Apparently, there were some kinda TECHNICAL DIFFIFULTIES worh~

It caused the LRT to keep its' doors open at almost every station for more than 5 minutes. With the LRT so damn cramped, I had to stand at a corner beside a door in a awkward position for SOOoo long.

Door was open for nearly 9 mins at Dang Wangi Station. Ample time for me to reach into my hard-to-reach-because-of-the-packness pocket to take my phone and take this pic.
Notice the crowd OUTSIDE the LRT too.

BUT, the real thing that REALLY made me DULAN is PEOPLE. Selfish, self-centered, and brainless people.

The LRT cabin is already more packed than sardines, but THEY, THEY just had to push and push their way in. SH*T THEM.

Saw two secondary school ~~MALAY~~ girl students (NO, I'm not racist, just stating facts.). I came out of the LRT at Damai station to give way to to those who were coming out from the "sardin can" as I was standing beside the door. Those 2 girls just stood RIGHT IN FRONT AND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOOR.

HOW THE HECK ARE THEY GOING TO GET IN IF THE PEOPLE CAN'T COME OUT?!

See them jiu DULAN! =.="

And while we're on the topic of SELFISH, SELF-CENTERED AND BRAINLESS people, (I never said I'm not Selfish SOMETIMES, but, at least, I don't think I'm as brainless as these people. C'mon, I have enough brains to let people OUT of the LRT first, SO THAT I can get IN.) let's talk about PARKING. Yea, PARKING CARS.

Yup. That's what you get for parking on the yellow line and blocking traffic (In TPM, near my college at least. =.=" XP).

But still! People still can double and even triple park.

My friend CK, whose car is stuck in a "box" of other cars.

Luckily I only paid RM3.40 for my Mee Rojak, those are my friend's mamak food bills. All of them only ate Maggi Goreng besar tambah ayam or telur (Fried Maggi instant noodles with added chicken or egg). Talk about eating "CHEAP" mamak food.

Yea, it's that time of the year again.

Red packets, fire crackers, food GLORIOUS food, visitations, AND... the #$%^& HOT WEATHER!

Been busy, hence this late update.

Just a few updates, not much photos this time. Couldn't be bothered to take much. =.=" XP

First off, the REUNION LUNCH! (yes.. LUNCH.)

Church, ate lunch with yi poh and yi gong, slept, went over to Sam's for MORE MAHJONG (XD XP).. then.. Visited a neighbour after dinner.. and after a few more minor events, here I am. :)

A usual college day routine...

Starts with me commuting, where i can see all sorts of people, doing all sorts of things with all sorts of expressions.

Including, the Malaysian "Thinker".

And, Aah~ This brings back memories.

Look! I saw this leng lui on the LRT. See that beautiful and FAIR girl with long hair almost covering her whole face there? Wearing all white. Ain't She BEAUTIFUL?

Then, after arriving at the Bkt. Jalil St., will take the college free shuttle bus service. While on the bus, that's when i took, THIS, along the road.

OSE (Organizational Social Environment.. or somthing like that lah.. >.<) and MATH!! (Yea, surprisingly, moral ain't included. Surprise, surprise~ More on that later.)

I've studied in Chong Hwa with MUCH harder maths, cracked my head over MATHS, and here, in COLLEGE, after HIGH SCHOOL, I'm relearning stuff i learned SO MUCH EARLIER.

Like a friend said, learning stuff you can't understand easily is hard and sometimes torturing, BUT, learning stuff you ALREADY know, understand and is totally considered BASICS, is DEFINITELY TORTURING!!! =.="

2 hours of math, doing stuff you did in, like, form 2? OMG~~ =.="

Wondering why my post title is "Panadol - 100% Anti-Pregnancy Method"?

Here's why.

Apparently, Moral ain't so BORING and NON-SENSICAL after all.
Our lecturer, Sir., AIKS! No, MR., Warren, is not as LAME as he seem after all. (Still a tad little lame sometimes, but aren't all jokers so? Or rather, joker wannabes? XP) And, the way moral is thought is totally different. No more *cough*IDIOTIC*cough* NILAIs! HALLELUJAH!! XP

On the first REAL lesson, we discussed ABORTION.

What's it all about, all the gruesome pics, the lagi more gruesome techniques, etc, etc. Eeww~ Just thinking of it makes me wana puke. =.="

But most importantly, we discussed the arguments AGREEING and AGAINST legalizing abortion. And like Mr. Warren said, know all the arguments FIRST, and the choice is ours.

(But, by the way he told us all the different methods for abortion and the pics, i get the feeling he is trying to let us know how BRUTAL abortion is, thus, wanting us to un-consciously go against it. XP O, btw, I am 101% TOTALLY AGAINST ABORTION!)

Now, THIS is REAL Moral Studies. XP

So, yeah, I still haven't gotten to the point. The title.

In one of the arguments AGREEING to abortion, Women's Right is put forward, saying women have the rights to choose wether they want their CHILD or not, as it is THEIR body, THEIR child.

Mr. Warren said, "Women's Rights? Yes! Ofcourse! But, please-lah, excercise your women's rights BEFORE you get on the bed with the guy! Not AFTER!" XP hahahaha~~ That's a really good one. XP

There were many more other jokes and humourous comments which I definetely can't quote all here. (BUT, if you'd like to hear, you're invited to come to APIIT, take the Moral Studies with me. ;) hehe.. XP)

I'll only quote only ONE more joke. And yea, it's about the title. XP

Moral coughsuxkscough Studies

Had my first Moral Studies class today.

No need me to describe the subject/module any more in detail i think. Or else, this'll really turn into a thesis of why we shouldn't need to study this !@#$% subject.

The lecturer's a C.C.Wong reincarnate! Well, not really, coz i think this lecturer's older than C.C.Wong. (DEFINITELY actually. XP) Nyway, U guys who r clueless who C.C.Wong is, he's just a lame joker teacher at Chong Hwa. =.="

The first time u hear this kinda teacher/lecturer, you literally laugh your heads out. The way they talk, the "smooth" talk, the crapiness, the slapstick jokes... But, after hearing tat kinda stuff for like, 30mins non-stop, it just becomes very VERY cliched and as Mr. Warren (my moral lecturer, who refuses to be called Sir, Your Royal Highness, Your Majesty, etc) said, very LAME~

But... Be it by accident or planned. This was the EVENT of the boring (crappy) moral class.

Mr. Warren marks our attendance by calling our names one by one. (80+ ppl) Our school uses an digital attendance system, and he was marking it with the projector on, allowing us to see him mark Present, Absent, one by one after calling our names on the screen.

He comes to the last name.

Marks PRESENT.

Hits the big CONFIRM at the bottom.

Guess what happens next?

ACCESS DENIED

SWT!~

All the slowly marking apparently logged him out of the system. =.=" swtness~~

So...

A lil other updates...

Was commuting back, was on the LRT.

Packed like sardins.

Saw 988 at the Wangsa Maju LRT station. The guy in the red cap is Point Blanc. Local artiste. Sings malay, canto, mandarin, hokkien, english songs. Really malaysian. All rojak. But not bad. Seriously.

And...

Went mountain biking with Lawrence and Peter.

2nd time doing so. And with Lawrence. This time, i was more adventurous, let go of the brakes a quite a lot and dared to "FLY" down the steep, bumpy and rocky slopes. Oooh~~ the ARENALINE RUSH! Really dam chi kek! XP

Resulted in 3 falls, and a few scrathes and blue-blacks. But, well, no baby walks perfect in the beginning. It's the FUN in the process that is worth it. TOTALLY. ;) ^^

Ok..

I'll start this random post with a few random photos i took randomly at some random time at home.

This seems to be quite a common phenomenon among youths - MESSY BEDROOMS. My sis is no exceptoion. Turns out, her table can be quite artistic, if viewed in the right angle ofcourse. XP

So..
Now, for a lil update on MY LIFE. Hehe.
(If I were you, I'd skip this part and go straight to the pics below. =.=" XP haha.)

Anyway,
Just finished 1 week (rather, 4 days) of orientation. Classes and lectures officially start tomorrow. My schedule for this week looks... looks.. well.. it looks like i wouldn't have much free time at home. I've got days where classes start at 8++am and the last class ends at 8pm. On top of that, I need about 1 and a half hours to commute there, which means i have to leave my house at about 6.30am. CRAP. Just like my Chong Hwa days lah. =.=" The dress code too. =.=" (Well, fortunately it ain't all white as well.)

So...
Commuting can be quite funny at times.
Especially when you observe things going on all around you in the light rail transit.
People talking on the phone like the guy in the Digi cinema ad, better known as the DAI KO..
or just staring blankly as the scenery outside zooms by and day dreaming...
or just literally dreaming with their heads swinging back and forth as the train moves...

Then, once in a while u get those squirmy and squeeky girls who just can't stop squeeling, giggling, laughing and annoying the rest of the commuters. (Well, at least, they annoy ME. =.=")

Then there are a whole bunch of people with mp3s, earphones that just can't be bothered with anything else going on.
Not that i don't usually fall into this group, it's just that i lost my phone handsfree when my phone was stolen on the first day of SPM last year. Phone was returned but earphones not. Long story. AND! Most importantly, I AM bothered with things going on around me, I'd like to think I'm the type of guy who is QUITE OBSERVANT. ;) XP )

So.. anyway...
As I have said earlier, I commute quite often nowadays.
Quite boring most of the time, can't listen to songs.
So, what do i do?

Observe and let my ichy shutter finger start SNAPPING ofcourse!

Saw this guy in the Star line holding an apple all the way. For a pretty lady teacher maybe? XP

And ofcourse, the avid football fan. *cough*chelseasucks*cough*

Then, orientation can be kinda boring too.

Okay, I'll try to keep this SHORT, SIMPLE and SWEET.

There're so many blogs out there. I wonder how many of those blogs of people you know do you people really read. (Including mine.. =.=") I mean, the TIME, the ENERGY, the EFFORT.

Especially blogs like MINE. Where you just read about some no-more-a-boy-but-not-yet-an-adult rambling and talking bout things about him, things that happen to him, and things he thinks about, blah blah blah. So many words, WHERE ARE THE PICTURES? XP Well, I'll get to that next time, coz if i start with photos now, this post will never end. =.=" XP

So, back to BLOGS.

People who are more likely to read blogs most likely have blogs of their own. SO, if they DO have free time, aside from their academic work, career, ministry, hobbies, etc etc.. What would they be doing? Watching Heroes? Prison Break? Playing DotA? (That's ME! XP)

THEY WOULD BE UPDATING THER OWN BLOGS OFCOURSE!

have said that he can blog 3 times A DAY when he's bored. Wow. Just think about it. I haven't blogged for NEARLY A YEAR, and this guy beats me flat in a day. XP haha.

WHERE DO THEY GET ALL THE TIME AND ENERGY?

On top of that, if you were to check out his blog. (http://nuaeek.blogspot.com/) IT'S FULL OF PHOTOS. I mean, the hassle of resizing your pics, uploading it, blih blah blah blih blah blah. O, so mafan. BUT! BUT! The fact is, I'd rather read HIS kind of blog, than to read "short, simple, and sweet" blogs which are about "me, myself and I". I mean, it's just more... more.. INTERESTING. XP (Yea.. That was a compliment Kee Aun aka Nua Eek aka ... ... XP (if you're even reading is that is.. =.=")) But, still, i do read blogs of people i know (if i know their blogs ofcourse). And! I feel it's good to leave comments after reading. *HINT* *HINT* XP haha... (Haven't really done so yet though.. ... =.=")

Yea.. I'm back.. the guy who didn't update his blog for almost a year is back.

What prompted me to this sudden return? Well, my mom. It's not like she WANTED me to come back to blogging. No no, she definetely wouldn't do that, would she? But, what she DID prompted me to do come back. (I sound like some blog prodigal son.. =.=") So, what did she DO? This morning, she read blogs of people in my church, including those of the youths, the ISCArians, or should i say, NexGen-ers now? XP Ofcourse, inluding mine. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Well, technically, beside me, on her laptop beside my pc. Yea, so, she made comments, blah blah blah. And so, you guys out there, know me, know my mom, have blogs, (and if you so happen to be reading this.. if there are any..) BE WARNED! My mom reads your blogs. XP

ok... so...

so much has happened... and i don't think you people woud bother to know it all eh? (Heck, i can't be bothered to type so much too anyway... =.=" XP)
and i think i'm gona change my way of blogging. Cutting the crap. ;) XP

so.. to the crust of the matter. matterS.

Just left Chong Hwa after SPM. Starting foundation course at APIIT/UCTI at Bkt. Jalil next monday. (14th Jan) Orientation for 1 week first. Will be doing a IT course there after the foundation. I know, every time i say APIIT, all i hear is, THE DRESS CODE! Yea, it's a must to wear SHIRTS, LONG PANTS, and SHOES. And i mean, no JEANS, no SPORT SHOES. Heck, even my hair can't be "out of shape". And i thought all these ended when i left Chong Hwa. =.=" But guess what, my mom LOVES IT. (Yea, the dress code thing... =.=")

So, as i'm kinda into photography (and SOME art for that matter), and have quite a lot of free time on my hands lately, found out about this website, DeviantArt. (Knew it for quite some time already actually) It's a HUGE website where MANY people upload artwork. All sorts of it. And photography is one of them. You guys might wanna check it out, if you guys haven't already done so that is. ;) It's AWESOME~~ XP

ARGH!!! WAT's WRONG WITH THIS BURNER?!?!

ARGH!!!...
just as the title says... i have been having problems with the new DVD-writer of mine...
i just can't burn anthing unto CDs...
i have photos to burn for a teacher in school but this Samsung Write Master DVD-RAM burner just isn't cooperating!!!...

i don't know why...
at first i thought it was just the usual spoilt CD... well you know.. the rm40 for 50 pieces kinda CDs... but then... it never went past 6% on Nero when i burn stuff...
WHY???...

then... i just changed my burner... or rather... my mom helped me change it as she was out and about.. and i was busy... but it is still the same!!!...

i tried burning stuff on the old Acer PC which uses a Lite-On DVD burner... which i used to copy discs quite often last time....
and it had the same problem!!... could i be so unlucky to have SO D*MN MANY SPOILT DISCS??...
but then again... i did reformat that Acer....
but then again... it shouldn't have any effect!... =.="

ARGH!!!...

anybody with any idea with what may be wrong, please immediately leave a comment... or just contact me... ASAP!!!...

so... ok... enough of my complaints about the burner....

well.. my dad's much better now.... the swelling has subsided... and he is looking much better...
went and got a new pair of glasses today... rm200!... o well.. that's quite usual for a pair of glasses anyway.... XP

as i am very sien of turning off my pc so many times trying to burn CDs unsuccessfully... =.="

today... i took many many pics... yea...
talk about taking pics the whole day in school... well... when school's in session i mean...
helped the IT department to take pics of all Form 6 and Form 3 students... not all... around 7 classes... passport sized photos...
it is for their GRADUATION cert....
form six no problem lah... but why form 3 olso in this? some of you may ask....
well... our school has this Junior Secondary graduation kinda thing...

the head of the IT department bought two new studio lights (the big thing you see in studios that they use to take your passport-sized pic) and two passport pic backdrops (the blue to white gradiented thingy)! talk about using finances and getting things done fast!...

i know our photography society should have those things... and the IT department buying that kinda stuff sounds a lil awkward... but... we do have them... just that our ONLY light is a bit cacat and is really really ANCIENT... and the sensor olso sot sot liao...
our backdrop is KINDA dirty... with paint and all sorts of stains and marks.... =.="

but... after we helped them take photos... the head of department seemed quite pleased and said we could lend those equipments from them whenever we wanted... if they aren't using it... (which i don't think they will after taking the passport-sized photos...)
so...
YEAH!!!... XP

well.. i had a thought when i was coming back on the bus yesterday...
you know our RapidKL bus system.... you buy one ticket and you can use it the whole day?..
well... i was thinking... put myself in the bus driver's shoes:-

12th January-
The bus driver goes on his normal routine... goes around.. driving people...
when people put in RM1 or RM2 and he gives them a ticket...
he comes to Titiwangsa main stop at about 3pm....
then a guy steps into the bus, shows him a ticket he has bought earlier on another bus....
he (the bus driver) looks at it...
"12 JANUARI 2007"...
he (bus driver) let's him (passenger) in...

13th January-
it's another afternoon... just like the day before... and the day before that... and the day before that.... .... well... maybe it rained on the day before before that... ....
he comes to another bus stop... a young lady steps in... he looks at her ticket...
"13 JANUARI 2007"...
he lets her in....

just about 16 hours before that... it was still the 12th of January....
but in another 16 hours... he would be seeing tickets with "14 JANUARI 2007" printed...
just 2 weeks before that.. he was still seeing tickets with "2006" at the back....

he sighs.. snaps back to reality... and continues driving....

well.. yea.. just as the tittle says... got QUITE A BIT of problems lately...

first of all...

been QUITE busy with all the photography society stuff in my school... all the publicity work and trying to recruit and attract new members.... phew...
i am the SECRETARY in my socity btw... but not the one in charge of all the recording stuff and that sort... but... on all the 'publicity' kinda thing... all the designing, drawing, bla bla bla...
basically... i do all the dirty work and tiresome work... =.="
we had this... erm... some sort of exhibition... we show cased some of the former and current society members' works.. including our current coach's (who happened to be an ex-president for our society some AGES ago... and is majoring in photography in.. i forgot where... XP)... don't expect me to describe them... i would need more than a thousand words to do so... serious...
a teacher got a fishing net for us, quite a big one... and we spread it in the small hall of our school... then all the photos went up there...
other than that... we showed some of the equipments.. like that chunk of metal which develops films, and enlarges them... the light (we only had one.. which was kinda spoilt... -,-") and the accessories for it... like the "umbrella" etc...
and there some other stuff.. which... i am just lazy.. and tired to describe...
well... it was only for two days... and ended today.. so... PHEW!!~... after helping the president (of my society...) to pack up a little.. i left for tution... (ofcourse... she wasn't very pleased, as we were the only two left packing up... o.. and yes... the president's a SHE... don't ask why... =.=")

so.... i won't elaborate more on that... there is so much more about my society that i was, am, and will be busy about... .... haih... sien... =.="
like they say... never go into a career that involves your interest(s) / hobby(s) as it will kill it... =.=" haihzzz....

yea.. i know many of you will say it is nothing much...
but heck... i'm FORM 5!!.. it's SPM YEAR!!.. and my mom is reminding me about it every possible chance she gets.... =.=" how important it is... haih... no.. i am not saying what she says is not true.. but... u noe.. when parents say it... u juz find it kinda annoying... =.="
so anyway... me being in chong hwa means i've got more to cope with... (no... i m not trying to b lcly here... juz stating facts.. XP) including calculus... .... haih... so far so good... ... hope it stays tat way... =.="

thirdly...
this is kinda recent... just yesterday in fact...
my dad fell from his bike... (bicycle)... while cycling home from work yesterday... yes.. my dad does tat as it saves money (parking, petrol, car maintainance) and it is a form of excercise... ofcourse... my dad's office ain't very far... about 10mins cycle from my home...
so... back to the main issue.. my dad fell.. and had quite some injuries... they're quite bad... on his face... both knees... a bit on the leg and hands here and there too... the doctor says they are all just superficial (don't really know how to spell that... but it means the injuries are only skin deep) but my dad's face is not very pretty... the right side... it seemed that when he fell, his glasses smashed and the metal frame cut his face...
i ain't very sure how the whole thing happened as two kind boys who happened to find my dad quickly got help and a neighbour who happened to pass by helped and called us...
when we arrived... erm.. i think SHOCK is the word.. i saw my dad's face half covered in blood and my neighbour was holding a hand full of tissue with blood...
well... rushed my dad to a clinic and dressed the wounds... and the doctor gave him a tetanus jab... well... it is to keep infection away.. i think.. =.=" not to sure...
according to my dad... after he came back from the clinic and was resting at home... he wanted to avoid two cars coming from the back and wanted to go up a curb at the side of the road... but it seemed the curb was too high and he fell... and passed out... until the two boys came to help...
my dad's ok... according to the doctor... (he went to another doctor today to redress the wounds and get more advice...) but... i can see that his face near his right eye is swollen... not a very pretty sight... and my dad stayed home today to rest... his right palm is kinda injured too...

so.. i hope all you christians out there reading this (if there are any...) please do pray for my dad's speedy recovery... and against any sort of infection or complications...

well.. ofcourse.. luckily... there are some bright things to look to in these times...
my bio, bm, chem, physics, eng teachers are all quite ok... quite good... (so far)...
my bm teacher is the head of the department.. so no questions there...
as for my physics teacher... he is quite clear... but kinda strict... but also ok.. so far...
the focus is my english teacher... Mr. Chin... if any of you current or ex-chong hwa-rians should noe him... he is... well.. kinda not the usual teacher... come in with a papaya face or juz jovial tat kind of teacher... he is one teacher tat will definitely spark some conversation... he is very... very... well... cute... =.=" i don't know any other word to describe him...
really.. like for example... he literrally jumps on the stage of our class and says.. "Please listen to me" when he wants attention from the class... serious... he can speak some (n i really mean SOME...) cantonese... but not mandarin... not at all...
and if that ain't enough... he likes to mimic children laughing... and the facial expression too... =.=" if that ain't "cute"... i don't know wat else is... =.="
but the main thing... he is devoted... he even bothers to get other materials... like from national geographic, Time magazine etc... and today... he taught us ordinal and cardial numbers...
i noe it sounds kinda stupid (to me at least...) but... come to think of it... many students in my school (or my class at least) don't really know much or very good at it too...
so... basically.. this Mr. Chin... well... he is serious about teaching... "to bring you all up to Cambridge 'A' Level"... (that's what he said... XP)

btw.. the name of the shop is ATE (it's in Low Yat... if u don already know... and didn't read my last post.. =.=") ... n i m QUITE familiar wif them (n so r they wif me... i think.. XP) so... if anyone of u wan to assemble a custom pc... don mind calling me to bring u guys to tat shop... n get some good bargains.. XP hahaha... (advertising myself and the shop... hmm... should ask for some advertising fees from them liao... )

the built in soundcard in this mobo is damn cool... it can make it's output increase/decrease (i dont noe the appropriate verb for this... =.=") in key.. as in go to a higher or lower key... so let's say i play a Mariah Carey song... and i can increase it by 4 keys max and it sounds like a chipmunk is singing.. XP haha.. seriously... only the key changes... the tune, the lyrics all still sound original...
so now.. i can make JoJo sound like a man... n Mike Shinoda like a woman... XP cool eh?...

so.. as you can c... the last 2 pics were kinda "artistic"... eh?... agree?...

hmm... i seem to be updating my blog so so "regularly"... but anyway... like most people.. i was and am also a busy guy (kinda.. XP)... not to mention LAZY...

so here it goes...
i'll start from... let's see...
aha!.. yah... ISCA Camp... ;)
(i noe this is very old stuff... but... anyway... it's ME writing this blog... XP)

ok... yes....
ISCA camp... hmm... wat to say.. it was quite SOME time ago liao.... hmm.... XP
yea... QUITE fun... if it weren't for 3 #^#% people who #$%^&*! don't have the &^%& b*lls to admit that they have ruined many more campers n MY mood... n by doing so... made me so d*mn *#%@! p*ss*d...
but.. anyway.. tat was juz the last day...so... cut the story short... (i dont think i really nid to say much.. as there are so MANY MORE blogs by others about this camp, n ofcoz... i 'm LAZY...)
as many people should know by now... i was ONE of the photographers during camp... it was quite an experience... the courage to walk here and there during services to take pics especially... yea.. n i learned from our dear nua eek tat taking more candid pics is pretty important n good... .... so much more to learn... haihz...
anyway... another must mention is the jungle trekking... quite a good experience olso... including SOME people who just couldn't help pissing others with HER PIERCING screams... grr... haih... but kelian my sis... kept slipping on the way up... tat should teach her to keep fit... XP haha... (ooh.. i feel my "evilness" arising.. XP...)
ah... just thinking about all the things we did... the kayaking... the flying fox... ahh... (no.. pls dont say obstacle course... it onli reminds me of those 3 !@# b*st*rds... PIF...)
so.. my feelings n comments of the camp?... it was all right... but... to be frank... i feel it was rather boring n a bit unorganised... compared to past camps... but.. anyway... thanks to the committee for all their hard work and organising the camp...

so... then... after the camp... there was our church's christmas play... "Word On The Street"......

well... before the official 3 days of play... i was given the oppurtunity to learn more about taking photographs during the full dress rehersals the day before... which was a Thursday...
as it turned out... the PRO photographer which was gonna "mentor" me was an ex-ChongHwarian... well... he graduated about 10 years ago... and he takes photos for major events.. like the Batik show held in KL convention centre... he even took pics for Tata Young's concert when it was held here!...
well... anyway... took kinda lots of pics... from the make-up sessions all the way to 2 complete full dress rehersals... not to mention the video taking after that... i was there at Flamingo hotel from about 1pm till 9pm... the actors, dancers n singers were there earlier n left later.. kesihan betul...

so... after that.. the next day... the nxt 3 days actually... i went for all 3 nights of the play... (well.. i was free.. with nothing MUCH to do.. and... ofcourse.. for the fun of it and to see my frens... XP)
o... i wasn't taking pics... coz the PRO ex-CHrian was doing it... (aww~)
anyway... the play was definetely a blast... especially the angel Gabriel... (who is olso a photographer... ;) ) he enjoyed himself every night.. changing his lines... adding stuff... and getting responses from the audience!... haha... he's a natural... seems totally flawless although he made mistakes... (ofcourse i noe if there r mistakes... i saw them rehearse TWICE before tat... XP)
o... a must mention... one of the funniest lines i like in the play...
"A guy asked me for money. I told him, silver and gold i do not have, but what i have i will give to you. Guess what i gave to him folks. I gave him a piece of my MIND!" (the drums go *duk-duk-CHANG...) hahaha... (if u don't get it... u brain runs on a low processor, mayb... pentium 2.. n definitely didn't go c the play... WHICH IS A BIG LOST if u ask me... XP)
o.. ofcoz.. the HALLELUJAH part... which was the part which never failed to get laughters from the audiences through all 3 nights... XP

so... that's it for the play... (i lazy to write more lah... XP)

right after that... i was GIVEN the OPPURTUNITY to make a presentation of the ISCA camp photos n videos... at first.. i wanted to use power point... n without videos.. but... luckily... miss JC came to the rescue in time... and we use Adobe Premiere to make one heck of a video....
in onli 4 days... we managed to push it through.. n i mean with the SKIN OF OUR TEETH... we were even still editing it on the day of the presentation... which was the day for our ISCA Christmas Party... but all in all... another great experience for me... and ofcourse... i have a new SiFu.. the pro multimedia college student... miss JC... XP haha... thanks to her... i now hav interest in learning Premiere... hoho.. XP
as for the video... i wont comment much... juz ask the other ISCArians who saw it... i blieve a few were quite embarassed by the video as videos, or photos of them were shown.. especially those doing some *ahem* not so SAINE things... (haha) but... it was all for good cause... eh?... XP haha...

so... tat about wraps up my church activities lately.... though i admit... i have really really COMPRESSED it... XP

then... ofcourse... i was still busy after that... if not... i would have blogged... as there was so much to blog about... XP

after all those had happened... i was given yet another OPPURTUNITY....
to become the secretary of my school's photography society.... ya... i noe... it's really weird... but i don hav to do all those recording stuff... there's another secretary to do those... XP haha... i m more on the creative side... (mostly designing, n drawing stuff... =.=")
had a 2 meetings... n whenever we dicussed something tat needed some designing n drawing... the president would juz go.. "文书..." (which means secretary) =.=" haihzz....

then after that... there was this ORIENTATION thing for our school's new form 1 students... and yes... me and the some other photography society people were in charge of taking pics... haihzz... 3 days... had to b in skul by 7.30am for 3 days!... haih...

yea... ofcourse it was another EXPERIENCE for me... quite a good one too... XP

the first day... the main thing they did was being introduced to the different places in the school... like the IT room, science labs, the courts, staff rooms, etc etc... (apart from all the talks... =.=")
then... the 2nd day was the most interesting.. n hectic... there were many performances by societies and clubs of our school... including those from the taekwondo society, cadets, Dance society, the new chinese yoyo society, 二十四节令鼓 society (dunno wat it's called in english... the direct translation is "twenty for beat drum" XP haha...) and 身心创意 (i won't bother to translate this... =.=").. after that.. the DOU MAIs (kiddos) went all around the school and played games at different "stations".... the motive was to let them get to know the different departments... some games were just weird... like sorting the names of teachers of a particular department... but some were just... just... well... call it wat u like... there was one which needed the newbies to 拱桥 (stretch backwards and touch the ground with their hands to resemble a bridge) and do a split... yes... u didn't read wrongly... do a SPLIT... =.="
the 3rd day was the most boring n useless... after another few more talks.. the main "attraction" was the fire evacuation practice... =.="
haizz... after the newbies were dismissed and went home each day... me n the others had to stay back and arrange, sort and edit the photos taken for a teacher to make a video to be presented on the 3rd day... (kinda reminds of me n JC rushing to do the ISCA camp video eh?.. XP) n basically... i did all the editing as onli i *ahem* was the most experienced in using adobe photoshop... Oooo.. XP haha...

so... then... now... to the MAIN ATTRACTION of this post... XP

on the day before the 1st day of the orientation.. my mom's laptop's hard disk crashed...
yup... lost everything... didn't hav any backup... n yea... started shooting me left right.... haih... i wont go deeper into tat... =.=" i tried to help her get back the data... including putting the hard disk into the freezer... XP but ofcourse.. it did not work... n she decided to get a new pc... at first she wanted to get a laptop again... but my dad recommended a desktop as it was better for heavy duty usage n my mom didn't nid tat much portability...
so... on the last day of the orientation...
i went wif my mom to Low Yat... n assembled a custom from ATE (yes.. it is a name of a shop... XP)... the same shop which i assembled a custom pc for my friend, Stool Stool (XP haha... nice nick name eh?...) last time...
oo... n yea.. i'm using it rite now.. oo hoo... for a lil bit more than 4k... this mama has...

TOO ARTISTIC!... the onli movie it is better than tat i noe of is THE BANQUET... tat movie isn't even worth me mentioning more... =.="

as for Eragon...
watched it yesterday...
haihz... written by a teenager... so.. can't expect much... XP haha...
the whole story advances so damn fast... n is very shallow... perfect for little noobs... =.="

haihzz... nothing can beat The Prestige...
seriously... The Prestige is THE BEST movie i have watched this year.... not even X-Men The Last Stand can beat it... (ofcourse... that's another kinda sucky movie.. =.=")

late update on some events... MAJOR EVENTS... XP

okay... so much to say...
let's do this according to the time in which these events happened...

first of all...
Pig's birthday...
it was... err... if i did not remember wrongly... 28th of July... was a Friday...
celebrated with him in class during the 1st recess... got a cake...
and ya... on top of the usual "ARUBAing" and "CHAIRing" of the birthday boy...
this time we did something else... something... more MEMORABLE... and SPECIAL.. just for one of our "gang members" XP
everybody put some of the cream from the cake he took... and we piled the cream on the plate used for the cake... made it into a mound... and.... yah... i think you have guessed it... SMACK THE WHOLE PLATE OF CREAM INTO HIS FACE!... haha...
his uniform, shirt and pants dirtied, he wore the clothes he brought to play b.ball after school after that for the rest of the day in school... XP
o... and i even made a small video clip using the photo i took of his face with cream and those special that he used which "sucks" oil from the face (if u noe wat i mean.. XP)...

then...
there was the ISCA outreach in my house... 29th July... Saturday...
there was no Physics tution that day as my teacher had something on and did not go to school that day... so.. i could go home and join ISCA cell outreach that day...
basically.. we split into two equal groups... boys and girls and just played Taboo... ofcourse.. with food.. and drinks... celebrated someones' bday... was supposed to celebrate 2 ppl's... both girls... but one couldn't make it... for some unknown reason... (unknown to me at least... XP)
the highlight of this out reach was that whichever group lost had to drink a concosion made by the other team... at the first half... the boys were winning... so we persuaded the girls to drink something I made... XP i was very merciful... not to mention i let them just take a sip... very very merciful... really... (compared to what they made for us after that... T.T) here's the recipe (as i remember it... XP) :-

but... in the end... we boys lost.. yah... we LOST...

and yah.. mine tasted much better than theirs... all i got to know was there was Vinegar, Apple Cider Vinegar, and Marmite in there!... no wonder is SMELLED so bad... not to mention the taste... argh... just thinking back makes me... well... makes me feel uncomfortable.. XP but anyway... we drank it all down anyway... and the whole thing was even recorded with my handphone too!... haha... certainly memorable... XP still waiting for the girls responsible to show me the COMPLETE recipe for that awful concosion... I WANNA KNOW WHAT I DRANK MAN!.. XS haha...

so... now... for the REAL event that happened... (yah.. those were just APPETIZERS man... XP haha...)
well... right after that wacko out reach... went straight away to ampang to attend a birthday party... yah.. a rich guy's bday.. (ofcourse... he is my friend.. from the next class.. one class WORSE than me... XP hahaha... juz jk there... don mean to offend anyone... really... ;P)
well... we had H*LL of a fun time there...
i won't go through ALL the details... but.. here are some of the HIGHLIGHTS... XP

after eating some stuff... playing and looking at others play a lil of basketball... sing happy birthday and let the bday boy blow his birthday candles.. our regular routine started... "CHAIR HIM!!!" hahahaha... yah... right in front of his mom... but his mom didn't mind... knew it was just pure fun.. she even LAUGHED... haha.. quite an open minded woman she was... and then we chaired a few other people... all Chong Hwa-rians obviously... and all boys.. (DUH~) this went on for like.. 30 mins? yah... we chaired quite a few people... all the other guests, who were not Chong Hwa-rians or were adults... and were girls just stared at us as we kept changing targets to be CHAIRed and ARUBAed.. and mid way... people started throwing water balloons... and spraying water.. even the other guests!.. ADULTS INCLUDED.. and yah... it was CHAOTIC!... but as usual.. some of the girls just ran into the house and hid in there looking at us go wild.. XP haha... pinned the bday boy again and sprayed water on him, threw water balloons on him... (pity him... XP haha...) we even PUT him into the pond!.. (it was shallow... we had the brains not to THROW him in...)

then... we were organised to play another game in which randomly picked people were to choose a card from the bday boy's hand... whoever picked the Joker would have to take an egg, which could be raw or boiled and hit the other person's (who picked a joker too) head... we played according to the rules for a while... and in the end... we ended up pinning the bday boy again and throwing all the eggs at him... raw or unraw... XP hahahaha... o... and my pants was also hit cause i was holding him still from the back by putting my arms below his armpit and then curling back to his neck... (dunno how to describe the action XS) and well... some of the RAW eggs hit my pants as the bday boy was struggling... XP

and well... that's the HIGHLIGHTS of the party... obviously... there was more.. XP

o.. and i noticed Lee Elaine was also there... yah.. that girl who juz won some record for being the youngest author to write a book on something about instruments... and yah... i knew here as she was in Chong Hwa when i was form 1 and form 2... and she was in the same class with me during form 1.. anyway... quite an achievement for a 16-year-old i would say.. didn't talk to her at the party as i did not notice her onli after others told me... couldn't recognize her until i saw the picture in theStar yesterday which was on the front page... XP well.. dunno wat to say... but... if u do happen to read this blog (which i doubt XP) CONGRATULATIONS GAL!.. XP

o.. and while we are on the topic of ACHIEVEMENTS... (XP)
i got a Consolation at the english essay writing competition in my school... haha..
took part in it for 3 years and finally got a CONSOLATION... XS
and all i got was a miserable piece of paper... a certificate... XS
well... it's not like i expected anything more SPECTACULAR anyway.. XP haha...

LOTR (which i took quite long to read as i read it very slowly, even The Hobbit, and currently at the last book, Return of the King, already), Detective Conan (a comic.. XP) and a few other books... XP
and i haven't finished my HTML project!... it's been kinda stagnant lately.. XP hardly touched it... but i've gotta finish it soon...

well.. our class, has been pretty known for CHAIRING people, aruba, and all sorts of "bullying".. (if that is what you want to call it... but actually both the "victim" and "bully" has fun... no real injuries done... ;))

just to shed some ligt on these few "technical" terms...

Chairing someone is to pin a person on the floor, and put a chair on him (not on his body, but at his side so he cant get up) and let some one sit on it... making him totally defenseless... hehe.. most of the time.. this is followed by drawing on the persons body... just his feet... BOTTOM of his feet preferbly XP haha... and mayb his body... this is onli done to those we know well and we know wont mind having some FUN... haha...

as for aruba... i think u guys shud hav heard it b4... it is to hold a guy up, spread his legs.. and "bang" the THING in between the legs on something.. like a pillar or door... we don't really bang it in.. just do it for fun... really... ;P haha... o ya... there is also a female version... called ajiba... XD haha...

so...
to the real content...

our school has this annual affair of sand papering tables and re-"Shilek"ing them... so... today was the day for this...
after everything was done... (with some humour and jokes along the way, which i m just to lazy to describe... XP) we were very HIGH... and we noticed that the form 5s opposite our class was starting some commotion (normally it was onli us... XP) so it sparked our "HIGHness" (XP)

first... our REGULAR.. mr. Mushroom... was ARUBAed to the door... with all the other people even from the form 5s looking at us... haha...

then... BiBi, kissed "Ju Yok Weng"... TWICE.. don't ask me what made him do that...
all i know is that Mr. JSR pretended to want to kiss him.. a few times before... but never really did... and BiBi just finished it for him today... XS
then... he continued to kiss Pig and Cow... swt...
took all their "first kiss" liao... kesihannya... XS haha...

then... with everyone's wrath...
we and the next class (BiBi's class)... we CHAIRED BIBI!!!.. o ya.. fyi... BiBi is VERY VERY FAT... we tried to chair and pin him b4.. but never could... this time.. we finally did it!!!.. WOOHOO!!... XP haha... Unity is Strength!!... XP hahaha...

phew... just thinking and retelling everything also makes me sweat... haha...

Mr. Frog wants to buy a new computer...
asked me if buying his own parts and assembling his own pc is a good idea...
and well... i said yes... cause we can buy the parts we like and the total is actually cheaper than those that are bought set-up already... really... that is if you don't mind all the hassle of fixing all the hardware up and getting the softwares running... which actually... isn't very hard... XP

so.. as i was also DREAMING of upgrading my pc too...
we made up our mind to go to Low Yat and get the latest specs and prices...
so... we did... and we went... last Sunday..

i was there early as i went there straight after church service... so.. i bought movie tickets for them first and read Full Metal Alchemist comics in Borders while waiting for them.. XP
Yok Weng and Lui Lui came too... after a quick meal at McD in Time Square... we went to Low Yat.. asked around and gathered some of the price lists... but we were in quite a rush for we had to go back to TS to catch a movie... i went to watch Superman Returns while the others watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2...

well... i watched POTC2 the day before... because a friend of mine phoned me and said he could drive me there, AND BACK, wif his bro, my sis and another friend. So, since he is driving.. OFCOZ I'LL GO!! XP haha...

so... anyway...
back to the computer thing...
now... quite a few people want to upgrade their computers... or BUILD one too...
all because of me starting the hype... XP haha...
Frog needs to save up some money.. so he will buy his at the earliest at the end of the year...
Yok Weng has some financial support... (from his mom ofcoz).. so he wanted me to write a list of things to buy for him... XP and i did... quite good actually...
then there is Stool, Cow and Pig... Pig says he wants to upgrade his processor... and might upgrade it pretty soon...
anyway...
as i heard... there is a price war between AMD and Intel... so there will be a price slash in August... 40% or 60% i think i heard... should b 40%... XP
so... anyway... i advised them to buy their stuff in August... coz that's when the processors will drop in price, so as all the other stuff... for these IT stuff just never stop dropping in price... :| the longer you wait the cheaper it gets... but the more out-dated it becomes too... XS haih...

so... anyway...
these are MY DREAM PC upgrades.. not anything to scream for... but that's what i think we NORMAL CITIZENS can afford and is pretty good... FOR ME at least... XP

now lets get to the movie part... (so much to talk about lately... XP)

Pirates of the Caribbean 2 : Dead Man's Chest...
overall...
it was quite a nice movie...
packed with action and suspense.... not to mention humour and some totally FAKE scenes... like the part where Cap. Jack jumps over the cliff and lands on another like an athlete using a pole strapped to his back... and then falling so far down and not being injured... (well.. all movies are these fake anyway... XP)
but there is just one part i dont really like and find quite lame...
the part where those 3 men fight for the key to the chest... it was dragged way too long and was pretty lame... =.=" and Keira Knightley's line... "OOoh.. the heat..." and fainting.. that was like... SWTNESS!!!... =.=" haha...
anyway...
i like this movie... but the ending was really an anti-climax man... ARGH... wat a way to end a movie... Cap. Jack seemingly dead and his rebelled crew, Barbosa returning to life... woah.. just makes me unpatient for the next movie man!!...
THEY HAD IT IN THEIR HEADS TO MAKE A 3rd MOVIE AFTER ALL!!... tat's good actually.. but i juz don like endings like this... =.=" haha...
anyway.... i juz can't forget "I've got a jar of dirtt... I've got a jar of dirt... I've got a jar of di-..", PLOP PLOP PLOP... hahahahahaha... (don't know what this is? GO WATCH THE MOVIE!!!... hahaha)

as for Superman Returns...
well...
the story ain't too bad... quite true to the comic...
but the onli thing bad about it.. like many would say... is its slow pace... making it quite sien... the mushy mushy parts were just dragged too long... XS

well... unless you are really a superman fan... skip this movie...

it was really a FRIENDLY match.. literally...

there was this guy from 4s5 whose birthday was today...
so about after the 1st half...
everytime he got the ball... we would make way for him to score... we won't mark him... and just open a path for him... XP haha... ofcourse... he wasn't a very good player.. just playing for fun... XP haha.. he didn't score everytime we let him pass... XP haha..
and... one of the best players in 4s5... which happens to be one of my good friends was just playing a fool... dribbling the ball in all sorts of wacky ways..
for example... holding his waist with one hand while dribbling really really slow... and raising his hands up horizontally after dribbling the ball once... (i will leave it for you to imagine how he really does that... XP)
and... anyway.. we won by at around 10 marks... XP

downloading the photos i took of the match with my W810i (XP) into my computer now... hehe... just love my phone... never miss an unforgettable moment anymore.. and able to catch WACKY and HILARIOUS moments...

it's a lil late to say this..
but... yup...
I FINALLY GOT MY PC BACK!!... XP (already around 2 weeks plus late news... XP haha...)
so... anyway...
with the help of my mom saying she wants me to help her burn CDs and DVDs... and me having to do my HTML project (as a "reason" ofcourse XP), and a bit or negotiations on the "Terms of Use"... i got it back... hehe.. :D

so... why so late for sharing the news?...
well... it is easy to guess...
the moment i got my pc back...
was busy downloading tons of songs... and videos... mainly the Bleach episodes... XP haha...

7pm liao still the sun still shining so bright and hot...

had to play in the hot sun even at 4pm yesterday with 4A3... but luckily... not only our class no form... even our opponent... and we won... i forgot how much.. XP just happy that we won... ;D and i scored 2 points!.. not much.. but.. at least i scored... XP gotto do better next time... ;)
haih... but too bad we only got 3rd place in the interclass basketball tournament.. haizz... may talk more about this next time... (XP)

the HTML projects coming up fine... the website is about Street Racing... hehe... tryin my best to make it as cool as possible... complete with pics of tricked out and souped up cars and videos of drifting and other driving stunts... ;)

then... there's that Star NIE project which is due TOMORROW... and i only started doing it with my team YESTERDAY!!... holy... XP haha... luckily it aint too hard... finished the writing parts and 1 poster... the ideas of the other 2 posters i gave to my other team members (not to mention the 1st one also... =.=") and they should be finished with it by tomorrow... THEY HAVE TO... =.="
o ya... the NIE thing is about planning a campaign based on a few themes the Star has set... and my team has chosen Social Values and is doing campaign PLANNING (no.. we don't really run the campaign... XP) titled "Say NO to School Violence".. talk on the late uprising of violence and bullies in schools...
it's not like i wanted to do this... not like i would give a D*MN.. but.. because my teacher told us to.. and well... my english teacher ain't bad... in fact she's quite good to us.. so... better not put her down loh... (and since my english is counted quite good by my school's standards.. XP it ain't a big problem anyway... haha)

then...
my teacher wants me to join this essay writing competition.. which organised my MPH i think... (all because my english is good... XP haha..)
the title has got something to do with Time... something like why sometimes Time seems to crawl so slow that minutes feel like ages and yet sometimes years just fly by in a blink of an eye... quite an interesting topic i would say... ;)
and i have to write at least 1000 words... which... isn't much of a problem for me... XP never had a problem writing too little words for an essay... even for Chinese and Malay compositions and essays... in fact... i exceed the limit very often... XP haha...

then... while playing b.ball... i dunno how.. but my pants ripped... (SWTNESS~~) but luckyily it was at the bottom... and well.. not really visible and none of my friends cared.. so... who cares~.. XP

it started to rain... and coz we onli started playing a while... we continued playing in the rain... and it got really really slippery... so... well... i think u kinda guessed it... i slipped and knocked the back of my head... (*OUCH*)

then.. on the way home... i found out someone stole my money!!!... OMG!!... i don mean to suspect any of my friends... but... it seems tat onli one of them could've stole my money... haih... i just let it be...

then.... after this series of MISFORTUNES... had to get FIRED left n right from my dad bcoz of grades... and well... yup.. computer taken away... T.T sob.. sob..

then... that's not all of it..

i m expected to STUDY STUDY STUDY 24/7 during the hols!!
WTF!!... can't even read LOTR tat my sis leant from her friend!!!.. WAT'S THIS??...

then... went to the photoshop i was supposed to work in during the hols... the boss told me he employed someone else already because i did not confirm wif him if i wanted the job... =.=" all because my dad fired me and said "With this kinda grades still want to work??! Go study and revise lah!!"... causing me to not know wat to do at tat time... ARGH...

MY WHOLE HOLIDAY IS RUINED AH!!!!!!!!!...
save for the YAM Times Out conference... which was... quite fun... (compared to me being at home and expected to STUDY.... =.=")

ARGH!!!... I FINALLY GOT MY MONITOR BACK!!!...
=.=" i know this is gonna sound ridiculous...
my mom took my LCD computer monitor away during my mid-term exam in hope that i would pay attention on my revision...
but... OFCOURSE I WOULD REVISE!.. i mean.. who in the world would be so idiotic to not study during their exams? (idiots excluded :P)
and now.. she wants to put her BIOS password back on... T.T hope i will be able to talk her to not doing so... :P
now i feel i like i left out on so much...
gotto catch up... :P

on the last day of the exams...
had a fun time with FRIENDS... XP
went to Time Square.. watched MI3...
it was DAMN COOL!... very thrilling... i was literally kept at the edge of my seat.. and the jokes plus humour were all put in at the most intense moments... really a nerve breaker... :P

then after the movie...
went to MABA indoor b.ball court to watch our school team play in the finals against SM Confucious...
at first, we were leading with 12 points..
then... they caught up... with their RIDICULOUSLY ACCURATE 3 pointers...
the pressure built up... me and my friends and other chong hwa supporters were shouting our voice boxes out because we had around 20 people only while there were like 200 Confucious supporters.... =.="
then... just 3 seconds before the end of the whole game...
we were leading 59 to 56....
they passed the ball... the clock started counting down from 3 seconds...
a Confucious player ran pass the half court line...
glanced at the clock and just shot!... to the AMAZEMENT of every in the court.. HE SCORED A 3 POINTER FROM THERE!!!... the supporters ROARED in excitement...
me and my other friends' jaws nearly dropped to the floor...
the Confucious players rejoiced and jumped around...

then came the overtime...
we lost...
lost 12 points... i don't know why...
but it seems our players submitted to the ENORMOUS pressure that was building around them...
haih... i really don't know wat to say... just.. disappointed...

but... anyway... they did well... i have nothing to say about that... XP

then... after all that... i had to go back to my dad's office to help with his computer... =.=" haih... tiring... eventually i slept there a lil while while Mister Sha (XP) helped my dad with downloading drivers... =.="
only reached home around 11pm...

first few weeks of school...
got to know my teachers....
and DAMN!..
MOST OF THEM ARE BORING MAN...
as most people know already... i slept quite often during class when i was in form 2... this situation makes me... makes me just want to sleep even more!!... i promised myself i would pay attention and do better this year... but... haih... this is gonna be hard... /sob... T.T
ARGH!!... just thinking of it makes me fidget in my seat...
ESPECIALLY THAT OLD LADY THAT TEACHES ME CHINESE!!!
man... she took 3 classes to finish a chapter!!.. and it's not like she spent much time explaining... SHE WAS LITERRALLY TALKING CRAP!!! CRAP!!!... DOH~!
I AM STUCK WITH THESE TEACHERS FOR THE REST OF THIS YEAR AH!!!... sob sob.. T.T help me~~....

a lot of my friends.. well... are still really very childish in their mindset...
this year all science subjects are in English... because of the change the government made...
so... during bio class... many could not understand... THEY WANTED THE TEACHER TO EXPLAIN IN ENGLISH!... i mean... c'mon lah... u want the teacher to go over everything because you all don't understand??... STUDYING IS YOUR responsibility man... you are the one who is supposed to read your textbook before going to class and look for the words you don't understand in the dictionary!!...
i know i don't do this (YET XP)... but... at least i understand... or at least... i don't ask the teacher to explaing it JUST FOR ME... and make the whole class listen along...
C'MON GUYS (AND g!rl$)!! You're form 4 already!! Senior 1 already!!.. GROW UP!!...
haih... really... this is.. selfishness.... quite unreasonable...

another group of people i would like to talk about is those who are REALLY PAMPERED AND SPOILT!! SPOILT BRATS!!! (i know i myself am one to some extent.. but not as bad as the people i am going to talk about... i hope so... :P)
these people... the way they speak.. well.. IMMATURE!... (i don't want to sound like i am saying that i myself am very mature... but this people really are immature....)

school has started...
and yea... i am a senior! :P in form 4 currently... and in our school... that's when we start wearing long WHITE pants... hehe... finally graduated from wearing short pants... and well... nothing special actually... :P just a little difference outwardly... nothing else of me has changed much... (i think ;P)...
it feels rather hot wearing those long pants... and they are a little hard to maintain... must always watch out not to get them dirty... especially the bottom... :
anyway...
was busy calculating the cost of my books...
i am gonna buy some second hand books from a 先修廉 (same as Upper Form 6 in normal schools)...
i went looking around for 2nd hand books rather late... many of the people i know have sold their books... haih...
and.. i didn't know some of my form 4 books will and can be used until Upper 6... that is.. if u do not leave school after SPM... which quite a lot of people do...

the didn't even COMPLIMENT when they saw that my results were better... they only knew to say... "DO BETTER", "I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER ONE..."...
the moment they knew my friend's results, they just say "SEE! HOW COME HE CAN, YOU CAN'T?"... I AM NOT HIM!!... ARGH!... but ofcourse... i have to control myself... if not... haih... worse consequences...
and now... they don't even let me watch TV together with them after dinner... "GO DO SOME REVISION"... HECK!.. i don't even have my textbooks yet lah!!... sheesh!...
ARGH!!!... just thinking of this makes me boil inside...

SEE!!... AND NOW MY MOM IS PESTERING ME TO SHUT THE COMPUTER DOWN!!... WHAT THE HECK!!... i used the computer so much more last year and had better results leh....

ahh~~...
it all started on the 23rd of December... on Friday...
You Wei came to my house (again)... and like the last time... he just sat bside me while i played NFS (yes.. i have finished it... still playing for fun and the bonuses)... he says he is so so bored at home that he literally laughes at himself in the mirror... XS swt...
so.. right after that... helped my mom finish some decoration for the christmas dinner... then... aunty Lily Lee came... pretty early.. at around 7pm (i think so...)
.. then all the people started flowing in.... quite a few guests... Mr. Leong (Bernard's dad)... and... err... Cheryl Lee's tuition mate (?)...
John James also came... and well.. when he is around... we can never be bored... (XP)
sang some carols after eating... was about to play a game, then the carollers came... ironically... out of Kevin, Cheryl, and Ji Mi who went carolling, Kevin's carolling group was assigned to come to our house (his own life-group)...
then..
Kevin came to my study room.. and finally had a glimpse of NFS Most Wanted... (XP)

then.. guess what... i forgot how this came about...
but... i spent that night in Kevin's house... XD
and well... we played NFSMW on his mom's comp in his room till about 5am...
woke up the next day at about 10am... and went to church.. at about 11.30... to see the music practice for the ISCA Christmas party... which was to start at 2pm...
i helped 7A student... to do a simple Power Point presentation... which was just to type a few bible verses that Pastor wanted to use in his preaching later that afternoon... guess who this SMART guy was?... yea... it was none other than the INFAMOUS Ji Mi Yeow... ( XP ) ... no offense there... XD
and well... after the fun and stuff at the meeting... my mom came and picked me and my sis... dropped by at Kevin's house to pick up my stuff... and went home...

on the same day... (24th of Dec)...
we went to PGRM to watch some musical drama (?) organised by First Assembly A/G...
it was a chinese and english play, music performances, and err... drama (?)...
personally... it was so so lah...
like my father said.. it is special because it combined english and chinese... for example.. they don't only sing chinese songs... they also sing english ones... not only during the play... even for the performances... and even sing both languages for the same song....
two things unique though... they had a performance where disabled people on wheelchairs did a dance(?) and small kids (around primary school age) did some break dance.. not too bad though....
but... other than that... well... it wasn't anything special... or.. any thing memorable... haih...
worst of all... the preacher preached in CANTONESE!... doh... couldn't understand...
o well... my mother said it was meant for the all ages...

the next day... (25th of Dec)...
IT WAS CHRISTMAS!!...
the first thing in the morning... my mom woke me up and gave me a small small present... it looked like a thumb-drive... but when i opened the wrapping... guess what... it was 7 ringgit rolled up... swt... big swt...
we (me and my family) went to Flamingo hotel in the morning...
had a christmas service... and well... nearly sang our voice-boxes out... XP
just like last year's watch night service... XP rofl...
and.. i got a present... from Mei Dree.. my ISCA cell in-turn...
the first time anyone gave me a present during christmas (i think... other than my mom's that morning... =_=")...

then... when we got home... it rained...
a rainy christmas...
hmm....

at about 5pm... we left for pastor Be Eng's house warming / dedication open house dinner... apparently... she bought a new house... very near to Abigail's...
went there... and well... met Ji Mi and Kimberly...
later... Kevin and his family came...
we chat... and ofcourse... ate...

then... guess what... after that... i got permission to go stay over at Kevin's... yea.. again.. XP
but... he went for some party at Shannon's...
meanwhile... Cheryl was busy phoning and IM-ing ppl (especially Jo Yee) about some movie outing the next day...
according to him... he wanted to take a lift from Hui Min.. but.. she said wait.. and continued chatting with someone... Kevin waited and waited.. when he looked at his watch again... i was already 12.45... swt....
and well... just like the last time... we played NFSMW... but... this time.. Kevin was a lil knocked out edi... so we onli played until around 3am (i think so...)

the next day... 26th Dec... well... Kevin asked if i wanted to follow them to watch a movie (FINALLY..).. heck YES... XP but i had one problem.. i did not have PRESENTABLE clothes (just like my mom says it).. so.. made some arrangements with my mom on the phone... and she sent the clothes to me... :P hehe... and took the rest of my stuff home... but alas... she forgot to bring my shoes... so.. i had to go to Mid Valley with SLIPPERS!!... real la3-la4.. XP
anyway... we (Sirn Loong, Wee Liam, Kevin, Cheryl, Jo Yee, Jo Yee's friend whom i 4got her name XP, Grace, and erm... ME! ;P) went there.. met up with Faith and Ian there... watched Narnia... ironically... more than half the ppl who went with us... had already watched Narnia... for some... it was the 3rd time already!.. doh...
then... the gang separated... and some went home... i was with Sirn Loong, Victor and Kevin... then we helped Victor look for a VCD to give to Abigail... AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT it seemed... XP anyway... Victor could onli afford VCDs cause he could spend around RM20 onli... but.. then comes Sirn Loong... he helped Vic pay RM20... so... in the end... Vic bought a Audio CD for Abi... some singer called Michael Buble... (sounds.. funny... XP)...
then... we followed Sirn Loong around.. looking for a pair of jeans for him.. he was gonna use it during his trip to Hong Kong the next day... (talk about last minute shopping...) his budget was rm60 and his size was i think... 38?... i hope i did not get that wrong... XP

o well... here it goes...

start with HUGE camp...
just like the name of the camp... it is HUGE... litterally... 800+ teens from all over M'sia all in one resort... the biggest camp i have been to so far...
well... what i really liked about the camp was the worship (DUH) and ofcourse... there was a very rejuvenating presence of God (a bit tongue-tied there XP)...
made new friends.. Donny, June, Melvyn (no.. they are not from Metro...).. and a few other guys from PJ.. who.. i forgot their names... ^^"
but other than that... haih... i don't wish to offend anybody... but... ISCA camp rocks MORE!!.. haha... the food at Sri Puteri really really sucked...
it made me vomit on the bus on the way back... :S

well.. lazy to say more (:P)... then there was the FRIM outing just one day after we came back from HUGE...
well... the day didn't start too well... it rained...
after reaching our destination... we had to rush into a canteen / cafe or whatever it was... and we had a few games and activities there... one of which... was really quite interesting... where we had to rate items from the most important to the least to survive if we were stranded 1,000 miles away from land on the Indian Ocean...
and.. the results... as turned out... was quite unexpected...
then there was the pretty simple treasure hunt...
but.. for the rest of the day... HAIH.... it was pretty boring, if i were to say the truth... the most anticipated canopy walk was canceled due to the rain.. HAIH...

i finished playing the Career mode for NFS Most Wanted... hehe... ;)
quite nice lah... i'm still playing it... it seems there are still some bonus stuff i can get... and because... well... i'm bored... :|

i woke up this morning... around 8.30am... to update my blog and things before i did some household chores... the moment i went online... a friend of mine, Soon Fook (aka big7) asked me on MSN if i was going to Sunway Pyramid... i was like... SHOCKED... i did not know of any thing...

it turned out... my friend, Wei Xiong "thought" i was working... and did not invite nor inform me...

(cutting the story short...)

i quickly made arrangements with my mom... and she sent me to Desa Setapak... near the Wangsa Maju station where Wei Xiong, Da Jun (i still don't know how to spell his name... XP), and Khai Jun were taking their breakfast while waiting for me... Wei Xiong guided our other friends at Jalan Ipoh Mutiara Complex how to get to Sunway Pyramid... and after Da Jun finished his wan tan mee.. we took the LRT to Kelana Jaya station... yea... it was a long ride... but... well.. it was okay when you have friends to chat with... ;)
after reaching the Kelana Jaya station, we took a taxi to Sunway Pyramid... where we met up with the others... they were... err... Hong Yaw, Soon Fook, Mei Xuan, Chui Teng and Tze Sian... our first stop?... the ice-skating ring ofcourse!!... ;D we went in... RM19 per entry... and RM5 for the gloves... got our skating shoes... and went in!... out of the nine of us... onli 3 had ice-skated before... Wei Xiong, Da Jun and.... me... ( ;P ) but... unlike the other 2... the last time i skated was like... 3 years ago... when i came here to learn ice-skating during the hols... but now.. i nearly forgot everything... other than being able to skate around the ring at a fair speed... well.. those 2 (Wei Xiong and Da Jun), they come out so often... going everywhere... and they seem to do everything from playing snooker to going on the Space Shot in genting every 3 months... and i think that includes going ice-skating OFTEN...
and the rest?... well.. Hong Yaw learned fast... very fast... i think he roller-skated before... that's why he learned so fast... and could skate quite confidently too!... and err.. the others... just stuck to the wall... walking slowly... XD
then... Pui Sze who lived nearby came over and joined us... because she stayed nearby... she came pretty often too.. thus, could also skate quite well...
everyone tried to skate... and Ah Fook was the most sporting one... he even dared to fall... and he did... MANY MANY times... and quite a few times, he fell in front of girls... who giggled... XP haizz... kesihannya... but he didn't mind at all... and not for long.. he also could skate quite well... ofcourse... those who could skate helped those who couldn't... but of all those who could not skate... Tze Sian seemed to never leave the wall.. never tried skating herself... haih... if onli they were like Ah Fook... "hou 7" mah fun loh... haha... ;P

so... after having fun at the ice-skating ring... we were HUNGRY... it was like 2pm edi... we went to Red Box... where we spent the rest of our time at Sunway Pyramid...

after ordering our food... we started singing... quite a few chinese songs... some i have heard before... some i could sing... some i never heard of...
there even a PS there... and well... those Football fanatics played Winning Eleven 8...
after a few songs... we were like "HIGH"... XP we sung 童话, 倒带... and some other chinese songs so loud... we even jumped on the sofa!!.. XD man... it was fun... but... sadly... the girls did not join us... they just sat at one corner of the long sofa... singing silently... and when we pass them the mic... they just wont sing into it... haizz... not sporting at all... no fun... and that Tze Sian... she has been in our school choir for 3 years edi... but doesn't dare sing into the mic... HAIH...
and well... after our lunch... we sang to our hearts content... (we had till 6.30pm anyway... ;D) after awhile... Da Jun and me plus Khai Jun sang Numb (yup, that english song by Linkin Park), You Make Me Wanna by Blue, It's My Life by Bon Jovi... and quite a few more...
by then.. the girls left and went to do some window shopping...
then... it was me solo with Rollin', Points Of Authority, and a few other english songs... haha... XD after that... we sang / listened to a few more chinese songs... and ended with the song 脱掉!!.. haha!!.. too bad everybody was pretty exhausted edi... not "HIGH"... haha... but we had real fun... singing together (shouting too XP)...
then after paying the bill... which was RM200+..
we met up with the girls.. and well... it was time to go home... it was already 7pm...

Wei Xiong, Da Jun, Khai Jun and me took a taxi to Taman Melati LRT station... which was near Da Jun's house... and man... Da Jun... that dirty minded fellow.. had a DIRTY chat with the taxi driver.... even the taxi driver said his mind was kotor! haha... anyway... after reaching Taman Melati... me and Khai Jun parted with Wei Xiong and Da Jun, and took the LRT back to Wangsa Maju station... where we parted... and I... well... went home...

time just flies when you're having fun eh?... haizz... 5th of December... another day to be remembered....

(sorry guys... did not have time to finish the Numa Numa research yet... XP STAY TUNED... it will be out soon... ;P )

well.. it has really been quite a day...

left my house at about 10.20am...
my dad gave a friend of mine, Chung Sun, and me a lift to the LRT station on his way to church...
we were going to KLCC for the PC fair...

there we were... at the convention centre...
we walked around... and well... other than the gadgets and devices on show... other "things" were also on our list to look at... "living things"... ;) not to be cheeky... but... well... it's our nature... right?... nothing wrong if our minds' right... ;P
so... anyway... we walked and looked around... we didn't have anything to buy in particular... just to let time pass... and err.. well... not be bored at home...

we saw that mp3s just got cheaper... AGAIN...
this time.. the cheapest we saw was RM69 only!!...
i looked at Sunny (my friends nickname) and he just shook his head...
that's because he bought a RM88 mp3 the last pc fair...
and it ended up.. he could not put songs into the mp3.. it was totally useless...
but lucky for him... somehow... one of his friends lost that mp3... and... well... he payed Sunny for it!... talk about luck... :P

we walked through the halls pretty fast... and end up outside of the convention hall by around 12pm... the shortest time i ever spent in a PC fair...

then.. we pondered what to do... and decided to WALK to Low Yat plaza (sungei wang, Time Square, and Imbi plaza? that area lah...)
yup.. that was not a typing error... we really WALKED... after i asked for the direction of Time Square from a guard outside KLCC... we started walking...
we walked till the Bukit Nanas Monorail station... and there is where i made a mistake...
we were at a T-junction... so... if we followed the monorail track... we were sure to reach Sungei Wang / Time Square... but... BUT... instead of going toward sungei wang... we walked towards Chow Kit... i admit... it was my mistake... my decision...
we walked till Raja Chulan station and still did not know we were walking in the wrong direction... and continued following the tracks... till we came to a very familiar road... i looked at the road... and hit my fore-head... we were on JALAN IPOH... the road i am so d*mned used to.. (for those who don't know.. i study in Chong Hwa Ind... which is near Jalan Ipoh)...
so.. we were... as i said... walking towards the Chow Kit Monorail station... instead of the Bukit Bintang station... we turned back and took the monorail (no.. not walk) from Raja Chulan station to the Bukit Bintang station... haih... big mistake... but quite good exercise though... ;P and anyway... i learned how to walk from KLCC to Time Square... ;) that might save me some $$$ next time... (though i wasted some this time... swt..)

we went into sungei wang first... and looked for a friend... who was working at Echo Park... then we had lunch in the food court on the 4th floor..
then... we went to Low Yat... where i bought NFS Most Wanted and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory... both PC DVD games... which cost me RM30 (!)... both... not each... ^^" (haven't tried playing them... mayb nxt week... when i have more time...)
then... we went into E-zone... hoping to see some people we know... which we didn't... played a round of Time Crisis II... and well... with nothing to do left...
went towards the Monorail station... and well... go home! :|

one funny incident... (may not b too funny though... XP)
we took the monorail till the Bukit Nanas station and walked to the Dang Wangi LRT station...
there... we could not get on the LRT 3 times... because it was so so sooooo congested... everybody was going to KLCC... it was packed like SARDINE... until the fourth time... i had enough... i literally squeezed myself in... and when i looked back... the door was closing... and Sunny was still outside... swt...
then... THEN...
at KLCC... everybody wanted to come out... so.. I... who was standing at the door.. had to just go out and let the crowd out... and waited with the crowd outside to get into the LRT... and... guess what happened... the door closed before i could get on... DOUBLE SWT...
i waited for the next one.. and got on it... and saw Sunny on it too... who... to my surprise.. did not show any sign of being surpriesed... as though he expected this to happen... swt...

and well... i came home (DUH)... nothing much to be said there...

Been wondering what the *nu ma, numa iei...* in my title mean?..
well... actually... it is from a song called Dragostea Din Tei (which means Love From The Linden Trees)... it is actually a Romanian song... originally sung by a group called Haiducii (which means The Outlaws)... then sung by a group called O-Zone...

well... think the sound track from Chicken Little... the one in the trailer...

well... what is this all about?... it has been in my head for quite some time... just can't get it out...

it all started like this...

while me and Sunny were in the PC fair... we heard this song being played many times... at different booths... i had wanted to download that song... but did not know the title... so Sunny told me it was the soundtrack from Chicken Little (which... i aint so sure... cause i could not find it on the chicken little OS CD)... so... when i came home... i tried to look for it... i searched Chicken Little Soundtrack in LimeWire... then a bunch of results came out... most with Numa Numa at the back... i just downloaded it and... i had it!.. but... it didn't stop there...
i felt curious... i thought the lyrics were like "Know my, Know my name.." but it turned out it wasn't... it was in some other language... and the title... Numa Numa... so i searched it... and guess what... i found much much more...

IT IS / WAS A PHENOMENON on the internet!!... something to do with a fat 19 year old american dancing in front of his computer... lip-sync"ing" to this song...

i am currently doing some research on this... so... stay tuned!... there will be more updates to this NUMA NUMA DANCE phenomenon!...

(man.. i still can't get it out of my mind... IT IS ADDICTIVE!!... :P)
